S9371 - Grossular Garnet - $250
Sierra de Cruces, Coahuila, Mexico
Overall Size: 10.3 x 6.5 cm
Collector Mineral Specimens of Grossular Garnet for Sale from Sierra de Cruces, Coahuila, Mexico
Raspberry-pink garnets are not uncommon from Sierra de Cruces, Mexico, but rare when they are rich
with life emitting color. Always embedded in contrasting matrix is the norm for these, here we have a
perched group of 3 cm across with minimal imperfections. Really pretty for a grossular.

S9372 - Azurite - $1000
Shilu Mine, Guangdong Province, China
Overall Size: 8 x 5 cm
True deep azure color. Numerous stacked crystals grew into a bow shaped nodule of sizeable proportions,
8 x 5 cm to be exact. Similar worldwide localities have the same luster (except Bisbee) although pale in
comparison by means of size versus quality. Brown limonitic crust over its backside, yet no damage
whatsoever on the crystallized front, unusual to see a bruise free surface being a soft mineral. Azurites of
such magnitude are hard to obtain, perhaps this one must be seen in person.

S9373 - Grossular Garnet - $135
Sierra de Cruces, Coahuila, Mexico
Overall Size: 6.5 x 5 cm
Rose-pink dodecahedrons from here are rich full of life emitting color. Two main lustrous crystals sit
embedded in contrasting matrix of 6.5 x 5 cm, minimal imperfections or contacts are always present
with these. Think of how beautiful of a garnet you get for around one hundred bucks.

S9374 - Azurite - SOLD
Shilu Mine, Guangdong Province, China
Overall Size: 5.2 x 4.3 cm
Hundreds of sparkling sharp little royal-blue azurites growing out of a center core to form one
eyeopener rosette! The overwhelmingly bright electric color and super glassy faces are key factors
in picking a top piece from the locality, plus just look at how the xtls fan out, wow it definitely has
that extra appeal. Spectacular miniature.

S9375 - Tsavorite Garnet - $265
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 3.4 x 3 cm
From the well-known locality comes this highly glassy mint-green crystal of 3.4 x 3 cm in size, normally
garnets do not reach such large sizes, but there are a few contacts which is the trade-off for a monster
tsavorite. Some gem quality sections as well as typical crazed areas which help reflect light, all in all
though it's a very fine tsavorite garnet emerging just last month.

S9376 - Calcite - $250
Pau, France
Overall Size: 4 x 3.7 cm
The quality of the main crystal is superb! Images are okay, but not like the in hand piece, typical for
photographing colorless minerals. I rarely buy calcite unless it gets this good. Complex lustrous
damage free xtl of 2.5 cm across rests upon light tan colored matrix measuring 4 x 3.7 cm in size.
Price is very fair when weighed against the level of perfection.

S9377 - Tsavorite Garnet - $275 SOLD
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 2.5 x 2.4 cm
Wonderful gemmy reflective areas that stand out from a tad bit of whitish clinging matrix. Also the
saturated rich grass-green color is first-rate the kind of desirable trait one looks for in these high-class
tsavorite tns. Lively and bright garnet measuring 2.5 x 2.4 cm.

S9378 - Quartz - $250 SOLD
Miniera di Arbaz, Aosta Valley, Italy
Overall Size: 4 x 4 cm
Words cannot convey what a mediocre image doesn't show. I can only say that this quartz is a highly
aesthetic starburst of crystals unlike any I can recall seeing before from an alpine cleft. Released from
an Italian collection, 4 x 4 cm in size.

S9379 - Tsavorite Garnet - $250 SOLD
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 3 x 2.7 cm
Partially embedded in quartz comes this fantastic group of actually two dominant tsavorite garnets
as seen in the close-up photos. Well exposed with sharp glassy faces for the locality, a very choice
thumbnail/toenail siginificant enough to be considered a prime example in this size range.

S9380 - Fluorite - $365
Tongbei, Fujian Province, China
Overall Size: 4 x 2.7 cm
Damage free slightly frosted rich purple octahedral crystal perched on the corner of matrix; likewise
two different visual angles are shown for your convenience, sometimes it helps to flip the rock depending
on your eye. Perhaps this one can be cleaned with a quick acid bath, left alone it's a great miniature.
Size of individual fluorite: 2.5 x 2 cm.

S9381 - Malachite with Azurite - $175
Morenci Mine, Greenlee County, Arizona
Overall Size: 2.5 x 1.7 cm
Very cute specimen! Stalactitic velvety light green rounded crystalline mass stands proudly atop bright
blue contrasting azurite, for a thumbnail I cannot imagine better also nothing of note has been found in
years.

S9382 - Ruby - $375
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 9.2 x 6.3 cm
Very good long tapered well defined rich deep medium red crystals up to 6 cm in length are completely
frozen in sharply contrasting white matrix of 9.2 x 6.3 cm in overall size. Highly attractive for a locality
corundum and strong example of this desirable species.

S9383 - Beryl - $300 SOLD
Xuebaoding, Sichuan Province, China
Overall Size: 2.5 x 2.3 cm
You are probably asking why is this three hundred, well it is good! As the advanced thumbnail collectors
know the elusive balance between quality and aesthetic shape is rare in nature, you will just have to order
the tn to see for yourself.

S9384 - Muscovite with Apatite-(CaF) - $250 SOLD
Ze Pinto Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 6.6 x 5.3 cm
Resplendent silvery-brown books of large muscovites sit nicely for display. The cluster is studded with
several dark green hexagonal apatites for additional character. A significant find no doubt, even more
for the collector who recognizes its potential in modern times soon to be sought after by other mineral
people...especially for micas from this discovery.

S9385 - Rutile in Quartz - $325
Oropa, Biella Province, Piemonte, Italy
Overall Size: 8 x 5.7 cm
Unusual locale at least in America. Apparently, rutiles are occasionally found in the deposit and are
always frozen in quartz of distinctive appearance and similar crystal size, it's 1.8 cm from tip to tip.
Super nice small cabinet of 8 x 5.7 cm. Doubly terminated in the matrix as well.
