S9358 - Smithsonite after Calcite - $700
Seddas Modizis, Iglesias, Sardinia, Italy
Overall Size: 11.5 x 7.5 cm
Collector Mineral Specimens of Smithsonite pseudomorph after Calcite for Sale from Seddas Modizis, Iglesias, Sardinia, Italy
Exceptional pseudo! These calcites of 3.2 cm long are completely hollow throughout with only the exterior
shell of smithsonite that has replaced the original scalenohedral crystals. Very interesting from a mineral
standpoint. In addition to the fabulous glistening luster along with consistent overall quality and appealing
brown texture. One of those rocks that keep collecting interesting, in super condition.

S9359 - Skutterudite - $475
Bou Azzer, Anti Atlas Mountains, Morocco
Overall Size: 11 x 5 cm
As far as minerals go, this is from a relatively new find of excellent crystallization consisting of silvery-white
opaque sharp crystals up to 1.5 cm in length which sit clustered in individual groups on massive skutterudite
matrix. Spectacular representative plate of 4 inches, much brighter in person.

S9360 - Erythrite - $650 SOLD
Bou Azzer, Anti Atlas Mountains, Morocco
Overall Size: 10.7 x 7.2 cm
Lots of sparkling gemmy vibrant purple crystals line this plate of sizeable dimensions. Even better is
the color in hand for which erythrite is known, such strong tone. Abundant crystallization enriches the
specimen, too. For the stated reasons collectors quickly grab examples when specimens surface
such as the splendid piece shown above.

S9361 - Anglesite - $1800 SOLD
Touissit Mine, Oujda, Morocco
Overall Size: 5.5 x 4.3 cm
Clearly a fine mineral that only Morocco could produce pieces as good as seen here with pure saturated
yellow color making it special! Well positioned spray of 4.5 x 4.3 cm in size rests on sooty matrix for an
ideal miniature, plus sharp knife like terminations of smooth high-level quality that we rarely see the equal
from other mines. In person it exhibits the glassiest prisms one could imagine, just think what it can be
under your showcase lights...glowing gemmy! Worthy of any museum collection, opportune chance to
acquire a magnificent anglesite. No damage.

S9362 - Beryllonite - $465
Paprok, Kunar Province, Afghanistan
Overall Size: 6 x 4.7 x 3.7 cm
Significant occurrence for beryllonite! Crisp edges, uniform shade of white, and the crystal is terminated
on every side. All three dimensions are very evident when rotated in hand as opposed to the image. No
question that specimens coming from the area are top-class and can compete with any locale. Size: 6 x
4.7 x 3.7 cm.

S9363 - Topaz - $275
Zacatecas, Mexico
Overall Size: 3.3 x 1.6 cm
Pristine steeply terminated brown prism of great gemlike appearance exhibits interesting surface
growth. One has to admire such a pure gem crystal even though its of a smaller size the quality
speaks volumes. From the well-known area for topaz, respectable piece.

S9364 - Calcite on Fluorite with Fluorite inclusions - $600 SOLD
Xianghualing Mine, Hunan Province, China
Overall Size: 8.5 x 7 cm
Now, I put the inclusions as fluorite; they aren't phantoms showing offset orientation and different morphology,
at any rate they are superb and easily visible. Impossible to photograph, so you will have to take my word for it!
The undamaged cubes measure up to 4.5 cm across in cluster form with selectively placed shiny calcites as well.

S9365 - Chrysoberyl - $3200
Ambatondrazaka, Toamasina, Madagascar
Overall Size: 4.7 x 3.5 cm
A rarity in more ways than one: the odd cyclic habit, chemical formula and size for the locality are all unusual
characteristics in any one mineral. Few mining deposits produce exceptional examples with Brazil leading
in volume but many have damage; seen here too is trivial chipping. A fairly bland mineral that has valuable
traits parallel to other rarer species. Intriguing specimen for sure.

S9366 - Grossular Garnet - $100
Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada
Overall Size: 2.3 x 1.5 cm
Choice orange garnet crystal of 1.4 cm across from the celebrated Jeffrey mine. Aesthetically perched
upon handsome matrix as well. Great colorful specimen in the thumbnail size range.

Admittedly white minerals aren't my favorite however this absolutely perfect flat barite with the flawless
quartz prism of almost 5 cm long piercing through its base is unique as well as incredibly balanced.
With the constant flow from this country it's difficult to find appealing specimens - here is one guaranteed!
No damage.

Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada
Overall Size: 2.4 x 2.2 cm
Several gem quality glassy orange garnets partially coat matrix of 2.4 x 2.2 cm in overall size, nice
grouping for the material. Sits well many different ways, too.

Honghe, Yunnan Province, China
Overall Size:10.8 x 6 cm
This distinct cluster of 10.8 x 6 cm in size has sharp terminations along with a high degree of luster on
all the faces. Internally crazed center which is situated farther within from the transparent outer portion
making it one gem quality qtz, not to mention over 4 inches of pure classiness!
