Kaokoveld, Omaue, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.3 x 1 cm
Collector Mineral Specimens of Dioptase for Sale from Kaokoveld, Omaue, Namibia
Gigantic dioptase crystal! Over the last year or so malachite and shattuckite have been coming from
this locality but little dioptase until a small handful of newly mined pieces surfaced a few months ago
reaching a length I have not yet seen. Photos say it all, a near floater rich in deep emerald-green color
measuring 4.3 x 1 cm in size, collect miniatures? then this damage free single crystal approaching the
near maximum size for the species would highlight your showcase for sure! Superb!

S9209 - Azurite with Dolomite - SOLD
Touissit Mine, Oujda, Morocco
Overall Size: 9 x 6.5 cm
Great doubly terminated azure-blue crystal of 3 cm tall and 1.7 cm across projects from typical
pale pink dolomite. The color intensity from dark to light is unreal with the backside mimicking the
front in a 3 dimensional sculptural form. Azurites also are isolated from the surrounding matrix which
allow stark contrast, aesthetically positioned, a must see. No damage.

S9210 - Dioptase - $700
Kaokoveld, Omaue, Namibia

measuring 3.2 x 1 cm in overall size, very full thumbnail/toenail of perhaps the most sought after
copper species. Rarely do we see long crystals from any locality, wonderful elongated shape...
aesthetic!

Excellent intersecting mirror bright doubly terminated azurites rest in a cross like fashion of the style
known from the famous mine although very hard to find. The crystals have it all; luster, color, balance

right corner is velvet green malachite the result of natural chemical action.

S9213 - Tremolite - $375 SOLD
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 6 x 1 cm
This deeply striated flat and thin large crystal from Africa is beautiful, look at this thing! Such rich
glowing lime-green color, yes it's just as vivid in hand. We rarely see examples on matrix if ever as
the mineralized rock is usually porous and unstable not to mention ugly. Both sides are shown in the
images above. Splendid tremolite exhibiting a fine undamaged termination and prism faces, several
are undeveloped shards from the area.

S9214 - Azurite - $225
Touissit Mine, Oujda, Morocco

Two views of distinct azure-blue color zoning in an attractive "V" like placement of crystals. The
common copper carbonate was recovered over a decade ago by the miners and just now surfacing
again from a private collection. Chiseled terminations add appeal as well.

Very fine red cloud wulfenite. Well exposed transparent "windowpanes" up to 1 cm across stand sticking
out of the center portion of brown limonite matrix. What appears to be damage isn't, nothing more than a
crystallized contact typically seen from the mine. Fair price.

S9216 - Azurite - $400
Touissit Mine, Oujda, Morocco
Overall Size: 4.8 x 2.3 cm
Nicely mounted long slender rich blue crystal measuring 3.2 cm in length. Today specimens are rare
from the area, part of the value with pieces from the mine is the high level of quality making this one
a worthwhile pick. I wouldn't expect to find another in this size for a better asking price, so if you have
been searching for the right piece look no further, here is your azurite.
