S8944 - Cinnabar with Dolomite - $850
Yunchangping Mine, Tongren, Guizhou Province, China
Overall Size: 9 x 7.5 cm
Almost every collector of worldwide minerals wants a cinnabar from China since the crystals can
be seen in such exceptional growth like the rarer elongated type here. Above pictures also show
the very attractive blood-red mercury sulfide of 1.2 cm in length with the thick prism resting upon
white dolomite matrix of 9 x 7.5 cm in overall size. Given the right amount of time, these will fall
into the investment category of mineral collecting, red seems to be forever popular. Pristine
terminations.

S8945 - Hematite - SOLD
Egremont, Cumbria, England
Overall Size: 10.7 x 3.5 cm
Large well defined hematite known as pencil ore is relatively rare from the U.K.. Every side
including the termination and base are in fine condition which is unusual for its age. Another
pleasing aspect is the flat bottom, no support needed, it stands upright no problem. Aesthetically
shaped specimens remain elusive from the initial find in spite of older material surfacing over
and over, a classic for sure.

S8946 - Hemimorphite - $465 SOLD
Dulong Mine, Yunnan Province, China
Overall Size: 11 x 7.7 cm

line the entire plate of 11 x 7.7 cm in overall size to contend with other worldwide localities for the
species, though the difference in large part is due to the sparkling luster often missing on other blue
hemimorphites. These very nice globular mounds place emphasis as the focal point, obvious in
close-up photo.
