S8370 - Galena - $650
Dal'negorsk Mine, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
Overall Size: 7 x 5 cm
Collector Mineral Specimens of Galena for Sale from Dal'negorsk Mine, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
For form and size of crystal which reaches 5.7 cm long it is not only complete all around terminating
on the sides but has a depth unlike many common interlocking flat plates from Dal'negorsk. The
locality has produced some of the finest galenas known showing a high level of luster in addition to
the silvery reflective appearance, perfect for display. Good Russian material now comes from
recycled collections as is the case here, a worthwhile pick.

S8371 - Calcite - $850
Sarbay-Sokolovskoe Mine, Rudnyy, Kazakhstan
Overall Size: 10 x 7.5 cm
Wonderful gem quality yellow clusters measuring 6.5 cm across sit on a matrix of 4 inches in length,
probably shows best from a side view, no support base needed. Today few come up for sale as
these surfaced about 15 years ago, still considered top level crystals due to the near flawless
transparency. A must have for the calcite collector, but regardless of whoever orders this piece they
will be surprised at how good it is in hand! In fine condition.

Sarbay-Sokolovskoe Mine, Rudnyy, Kazakhstan

any internal flaws, if the species was a precious gemstone it would be cut immediately. Today few
come up for sale as these surfaced about 15 years ago, a true jewel. Measures: 6.7 x 5.4 cm.

S8374 - Quartz with Hematite inclusions - $375
Taplejung, Nepal
Overall Size: 8.7 x 5.2 cm
One of the more peculiar inclusions I have seen, not because it's hematite but instead the perfectly
formed roses floating inside, to get xtl definition in inclusions is difficult! From a small discovery
several years ago and just now available from a partially released collection. Unusual to see an
example this good, of the utmost rarity!

S8375 - Cassiterite - $600
Xuebaoding, Sichuan Province, China
Overall Size: 6 x 6 cm
We have all seen these cassiterites by now although large well formed crystals of 6 x 6 cm in overall
size are still uncommon. In order to visualize the 3 dimensionality please draw or adjust the image
before you disregard it as a common tin oxide, not to shabby for a black rock! Comparable to
examples in other well-known collections, really a splendid Chinese piece, of course contacted at
base otherwise no damage.

S8376 - Fluorapatite - $50 SOLD
La Marina Mine, Boyaca, Colombia

Broken Hill, N.S.W., Australia
Overall Size: 4.1 x 1.2 cm
Attractive miniature of 4.1 x 1.2 cm in the upright position. This elongated crystal has well developed
xtls at one end showing only slight tarnishing that is typical for the species, many people prefer the
"antique" look, minor malachite dusting near the base. What a great copper locale to own for the
element collector!

slick are two good words to describe this African treasure!
