A rare cranberry-red Jonas elbaite on matrix! Wow, now this is something special, we see singles
pop up for sale but to find the chalk-white cleavelandite is just killer. Considered the most important
find of tourmaline ever, easy to understand when viewing one of these elbaites. The crystals reach
3.3 cm long and sit in parallel growth to form a miniature of 3.7 x 2.8 cm in overall size. Collectors
hardly ever part with a matrix piece making this one an unexpected surprise, real value here, truly a
mouth watering example!

Classy combo! Eventhough the mineral magnetite is common at other localities alpine type specimens
are fairly uncommon, this particular locale is quite rare. The mirror bright high quality silvery crystals up
to 1.2 cm in length sit on sparkling dark red garnets for a super association the kind you don't see very
often. Overall size: 5.5 x 3.7 x 3.1 cm, displays well several ways, excellent for Italy!

Interesting locality specimen that is not available today, a real beauty for England. These somewhat
rounded looking pink calcites of 5 cm long on (in this case) attractive gray matrix of 8 x 4.8 cm in size.
If this mineral falls into what you collect it would be wise to grab it! Hard to find and just as colorful in
person, photos are exact, damage free.

Very nice cuprite for the price. This razor sharp inner red grouping of two crystals up to 1.2 cm in
length rests against appealing light blue chrysocolla matrix of 6.5 x 4.1 cm in overall size. This mine
has produced some of if not the best cuprites known, sets up without a stand, a fine copper oxide.

Great full sized small cabinet of glassy cinnamon colored garnets reaching 1.3 cm across are
sprinkled over gray matrix of 9.5 x 5.8 cm in size. Isolated xtl groups add to its appeal that would
stand out in a case I am sure. With the mine now closed, specimens will rise in value, this one
being a steal! In good condition.

Afghanistan is known for producing outstanding minerals with elbaite being one of the most sought after,
during the search miners find various colors but every now and again a stunner like the piece above
shows up. This doubly terminated piece of 4.5 x 2 cm in size is very unique because of its upper green
color zone, not to dark or to light, a hard to get hue! Slight hint of blue too, a plus for sure! The top is
absolutely pristine as well, for the gem crystal size range it's magnificent I guarantee, a must see.

Neat rock! This lustrous elbaite of 3.6 cm long has aesthetically pierced through a floater of colorless
beryl measuring 3.8 x 3.5 cm in overall size, the association alone is rare but to be so balanced is
easy on the eyes. We have all seen tables of average stuff from Pakistan, here is one worth owning if
you love miniatures.

S7920 - Elbaite with Quartz - $600

Overall Size: 6.7 x 4.5 cm
This gem quality bi-colored pink and green tourmaline was just to intriguing to pass up, why? Look at
how the crystals grew in a line frozen into the qtz face, may mean nothing to many people, but I think it
is interesting for an elbaite, perhaps the tourmaline collector will see it the same way. The two largest
xtls are doubly terminated reaching 2.7 cm in maximum length, quartz is 6.7 x 4.5 cm in overall size.
Displays well from different angles as shown in the photos.

Super small cabinet calcite for Idar Oberstein! Light brown to creamy colored crystals reaching up to
3.2 cm tall sit perched upright on amethyst matrix of 8.5 x 4.5 cm in size. Examples from the area are
highly desirable among collectors, understandable being an important European locale. Views well
from other side too, interesting xtl morphology, no damage.

Complete all around, every stibnite is doubly terminated and the calcite terminates on the backside.
These bright slender metallic stibnites of 6.2 cm long shoot out of a gemmy light yellow crystal
reaching 2.3 cm across to form a splendid arrangement of 7.6 x 6.8 cm in overall size, has several
display angles. I know with all the minerals pouring out of the country it seems like gambling, the
select pieces will increase in value, from a new find.
