Elmwood Mine, Smith County, Tennessee
Overall Size: 12.2 x 12 cm
Collector Mineral Specimens of Calcite with Fluorite and Sphalerite for Sale from Elmwood Mine, Smith County, Tennessee
What an attractive color combo! Highly glassy as well as transparent in the upper portion of this rich
golden-orange calcite wing of 10 cm in height sits intergrown on shiny dark red sphalerite matrix of
12.2 cm across, in addition to having a neat gem cube of purple fluorite making it a complete
composite for the locality. Nothing can compare to the distinctive visual impact from this now
closed producer of fine mineral specimens!

S7339 - Vanadinite - $100
Acif Mine, Anti Atlas Mts., Morocco
Overall Size: 3.1 x 2.3 cm
Bright, glassy, and sharp rich deep red vanadinite cluster measuring 3.1 x 2.3 cm in size, very
choice for the species with a fair price for the dimensions, thumbnail/toenail of real value!

Elmwood Mine, Smith County, Tennessee
Overall Size: 14.5 x 12.8 cm
Outstanding doubly terminated vertical grouping of rich golden-orange color zoned calcites rise
straight up and out of light yellow barite matrix for a specimen measuring a whopping 14.5 x 12.8
cm in overall size, top crystal is 12.8 cm from tip to tip. Quality, color, and xtl size peak at this
famous U.S. locale which will remain so unless miners unearth new treasure somewhere, history
has shown that the better material usually comes from one mine. A prime example that sits upright
without a base.

S7341 - Dioptase with Quartz - $375 SOLD
Sanda Mine, Mindouli, Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 8 x 6.7 cm
Only a handful of places for high level dioptase, this being one! Unique in that the crossed up rich
green cluster of 2 cm in length is sitting upon light smoky quartz matrix of 8 x 6.7 cm in size, when
compared worldwide it's rare to have crystallized qtz with the popular copper silicate making this
one a beauty, no damage.

S7342 - Aquamarine with Fluorapatite - $275 SOLD
Shigar Valley, Northern Areas, Pakistan
Overall Size: 5 x 4.5 cm
Several minerals here, but the two siginificant species aqua and apatite rarely grow close enough
in the pocket to be on the same specimen not to mention in fine quality! It is in incredibly pristine
condition throughout the matrix of 5 x 4.5 cm in overall size, classy high-end miniature. Currently,
Pakistan has slowed down, this super mix was picked from older production and is now up for sale
again.

S7343 - Elbaite with Quartz - $300
Pech, Nuristan, Afghanistan
Overall Size: 3.2 x 1.5 cm
Highly appealing bi-colored pink to green prism of 2.5 cm tall sits absolutely perfect in a complete
quartz that is terminated on all sides, the entire piece of 3.2 x 1.5 cm in size is without damage. The
dark lines are greatly magnified, not even noticeable in hand. For the size range it's great!

S7344 - Elbaite with Quartz - $800
Aracuai, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 8 x 5.2 cm
Excellent for a green matrix tourmaline! Here we have two gem quality prismatic crystals reaching 4.2
cm in length frozen against a flat looking (complete on backside) translucent quartz of 8 x 5.2 cm in
overall size, this alone makes for killer aesthetics, but with the jackets of pale whitish-yellow lepidolite
wrapped halfway around the Brazilian elbaites, now that is just unreal. If you have been searching for
the right small cabinet tourmaline here it is!

S7345 - Aquamarine with Topaz - $1000
Aracuai, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 5.5 x 2 cm
Very unusual association for Brazil! Even though etched I believe topaz is correct when viewed down
the c axis, it fits the orthorhombic crystal system and therefore is odd to see from the pegmatites. They
are gemmy as well as see through, with the reddish-brown topaz of 1.3 cm long partially included by a
doubly terminated ice-blue aqua of 5.5 x 2 cm in size. Gem crystal combos of similar types should be
placed in a category apart in order to be appreciated, although both minerals are common it's esoteric
by nature. In fine condition.

S7346 - Libethenite - $275
Rokana Mine, Broken Hill, Zambia
Overall Size: 2.7 x 2 cm
Rare species! Lustrous dark green cluster measuring 1.1 cm across sits isolated in a small cavity of
matrix reaching 2.7 x 2 cm in overall size, super tn for this remote and dangerous part of the world.
Libethenite from the mine is considered the best and hasn't been found in years.

S7347 - Spinel - $200
Ratnapura, Sri Lanka
Overall Size: 1.8 x 1.7 cm
Well formed transparent glassy matrixless crystal of pink with a tad of purple color tone measures 1.8
x 1.7 cm in overall size, one of the harder to obtain spinels. Slightly waterworn with some chipping near
the base acting as support and out of view, the rarity from the country overrides any trivial issues it may
have, a true gem xtl collector piece.

S7348 - Libethenite - $300
Rokana Mine, Broken Hill, Zambia
Overall Size: 2 x 1.5 cm
Exquisite interlocking cluster! Very very glassy dark green crystals form a grouping of 2 x 1.5 cm in
overall size with minor matrix attached to the backside. Libethenite from this remote and dangerous
part of the world is considered the best and hasn't been found in years, highly aesthetic, dimensional,
and a hands down top thumbnail in person, undamaged.

S7349 - Tennantite - $135 SOLD
Julcani, Angaraes Province, Peru
Overall Size: 7 x 6.5 cm
For Peru this is kind of rare, we are use to seeing tetrahedrite not tennantite from the mines, the latter is
usually complex in form but still silvery-black with reflective faces just like many worldwide sulfides. The
above example is 7 x 6.5 cm in overall size, crystals reaching 1.5 cm in length with some brown siderite
present too, interesting rock.
