Collector Mineral Specimens of Topaz for Sale from Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Excellent bi-color of pink to orange glassy prism of 4.1 x 1 cm in overall size is rare for the area, this 
unique coloration is only seen in a very very tiny percentage when compared to the more typical but 
still beautiful imperial topaz. It is doubly terminated without damage, a true gem crystal.

In recent years China has produced an astounding number of minerals however pegmatite species 
are fairly rare in fine quality, here we have a classy light brown wedge shaped crystal reaching 4 x 4 
cm in size and nicely frozen into quartz matrix which is rehealed all around. This piece and the one 
below was purchased from Dr. Liu by a collector friend of mine, so it's from China. Great damage 
free 8.3 x 5 cm small cabinet topaz that is very gemmy in person.

Totally pristine and highly reflective gem quality imperial topaz prism of 4.7 x 2 cm in overall size 
stands by itself for display, these crystals are among the most pleasing eye candy for the species, 
just outright gorgeous! With the right light you can get intense orange highlights on a shelf, every 
collector should own at least one imperial.

Flawless, glassy, and steeply terminated colorless topaz measuring 5 x 2.5 cm in size sits nicely with 
a small chunk of pegmatite for additional character, some chatter on left edge, it shows well from 
matrix side, price has been significantly adjusted.

Overall Size: 6.2 x 4.5 cm  
Definitely one of the best finds for orpiment! This is particularly attractive with dark gray contrasting 
matrix setting off the orange cluster of crystals which reach up to 2.5 cm in length. Overall size: 6.2 
x 4.5 cm. The mining there has brought to light some exceptional pieces for collectors at fair prices.

Overall Size: 10 x 4.3 cm  
Super vibrant red grouping of hexagonal prisms have grown upon dark rock matrix which stands 
upright at a good 10 x 4.3 cm in overall size. Whether Arizona minerals appeal to you or the 
strikingly pure color in this lead vanadate it's an attention getter, in fine condition.

Overall Size: 5.5 x 5 cm  
Pretty full miniature! Many medium grass-green lustrous crystals partially cover a matrix measuring 
5.5 x 5 cm in overall size. Quite aesthetic with the main symmetrical spray of 2.7 cm across placed 
perfectly in the upper portion. When discovered, pieces sold instantly to knowledgeable collectors, 
popular species worth owning, no damage.

Nikolaevskiy Mine, Dal'negorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia  
Overall Size: 4.3 x 3.7 cm  
Very fine spinel-law twins of galena! Not much here that the images don't show, it is complete all 
around measuring 4.3 x 3.7 cm in overall size. For a common mineral, the habit isn't readily 
available, at least with a 3 dimensional balance as seen here. Attached black crystals are 
sphalerite. 

S7279 - Quartz with Pyrite - $210 
Dal'negorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Russia  
Overall Size: 9.2 x 7.3 cm  
Spectacular frosted spray of tapered prisms reaching 4.2 cm in length sit well together as quartz 
usually does, however with this piece of 9.2 x 7.3 cm in size the light gray shows a hint of blue 
making it special, in addition to having sparkling brassy pyrites intermixed. Choice style of qtz 
not often from Dal'negorsk!

Neat multi-terminated fan shaped yellowish-green sprays up to 3.4 cm long sit jumbled upon rich 
dark green matrix of 5.3 x 3.7 cm in overall size, nice color a little different from the larger xtls, 
choice rock. 
 
S7281 - Epidote with Axinite - $85

Overall Size: 5 x 4.1 cm  
What a deal for the combo. Very good multi-terminated fan shaped yellowish-green sprays (shown in 
closeup photograph) are 2.6 cm long and sit intersecting each other for a specimen of 5 x 4.1 cm in 
size. Axinite is on right side of image.
