Beautiful mix of brown to yellowish-orange in this gem crystal with pink highlights that are very evident
when rotated in hand, quite distinctive for tourmaline. Pristine termination has glassy see through faces,
very important in an elbaite also not to light or to dark. I'm sure the few small veils and wisps saved it
from being chopped up, measures 3.1 x 1 cm in overall size, damage free.

Nice combo of opaque dark gray/green crystals up to 5 cm in length sit surrounded by glassy pale
yellow dolomite acting as both a matrix and sharply formed species of 6.7 x 5.3 cm in size. Of
course the bottom is cleaved as specimens sometimes grow in massive interconnected sections,
front as shown is terminated, a dandy for Brumado!

I know this looks a little like Himalaya, but it isn't, for the trained eye there is enough of a difference.
For a doubly terminated crystal the hemimorphic development is exceptional as well as in top
condition all around measuring 4.1 x 2 cm in overall size. Being atypical, this one would make a
wonderful addition into the tourmaline collection for that reason.
