Manganoan crystals are the other highly sought after variety of vesuvianite from the Jeffrey Mine,
Asbestos, Quebec, Canada. Many multicolored specimens can be readily obtained today, yet the
solid purple crystallized mounds for sale below are from select vein material of a limited supply.
Collectors "silver picked" these from open-pit operations and they have remained in hiding ever
since the initial find. This wonderful offering would be a wise buy as the mine is now closed, these
truly are striking in appearance.
