Benitoite is one of those minerals everybody wants, probably because of its uniqueness, triangular
habit, and rarity as a gemstone, the visual appeal alone is unlike any other species. This isolated
gemmy well formed rich deep blue crystal measuring 2.1 cm in length is well exposed on white
natrolite matrix of 6.4 x 3.6 cm in overall size. Quite nice considering production has ceased, old
pieces like the one pictured here will always be desirable in the future, no damage.

Fabulous miniature! If this is your size range and don't already have the mineral what better looking
piece could you ask for? The lustrous black neptunite has an aesthetic elongated habit against
striking white natrolite matrix of 5.1 x 2.5 cm in size, xtl 1.8 cm long. A pristine specimen for the
celebrated locality.

Wow! Here we have several out of the ordinary features for the species, its crystal size is a whopping
2.9 cm from tip to tip, outside of the crossite included specimens this one is extraordinary for being
all gemmy blue. The cluster form is another rarity from the mine, in fact I have only seen a small
handful of examples of which many were not as attractive as the piece above, finally the trigonal
shape of the large benitoite gives justifiable reason to boast about what is without question a
splendid and unique piece! Undamaged, size: 3.5 x 2.9 cm.

Fine small cabinet of lustrous smooth dark black crystals reaching 2 cm tall on a solid bed of snow-
white natrolite matrix of 8.5 x 6.7 cm in overall size, the really nice thing about this piece is that no
bluish-gray schist can be seen which is harder to get than one would think, more evident in hand also
the neptunites stand upright showing 3 dimensional form on all sides. Very distinguished mineral in
perfect condition.

Highly desirable and rare triply terminated benitoite on matrix! Perched up on white natrolite matrix
of 3.2 x 1.6 cm in size sits this choice crystal of 1.6 cm across for one hard to obtain complete
benitoite, even while production was ongoing the fully formed xtls were extremely scarce with the
price spiking for this reason. Today it's a joy to see one surface, real value here.

terminations of the largest xtl, matrix measures 9 x 5.5 cm in size. Good example from the renowned

white natrolite matrix of 3.7 x 2.7 cm in overall size, the seven crystals enrich the piece making it
more for the money as well as added color. This miniature is a good buy, but actually most
benitoites are worth purchasing considering the popularity, a gem.
