Discovered in 1968, the type locality, Francon weloganite proved to be a new species of relatively large size. This
crystal, one of several different habits, shows color zoning from creamy yellow to translucent white at the c-axis.
The "hourglass" shape is one of the most memorable crystal forms in the mineral kingdom and this 1 cm rarity is
a beauty. No damage.

ULTRA-RARE to find thick curvy wires of gold with actual crystals of pyrite, and it is AMAZING how one extremely
