S12630 - Hausmannite - $500
Wessels Mine, Kalahari Manganese Fields, North Cape Province, South Africa
Overall Size: 4.6 x 3 cm
The brightest hausmannites, seen here to 1.4 cm long, show nearly seamless high-quality smooth faces of an
otherwise dullish and pitted looking mineral most of the time, but not this pseudo-octahedral group of eleven
crystals, in person it is a brilliant show of reflected light! Damage free too.

S12631 - Quartz - $285 SOLD
Ace of Diamonds Mine, Middleville, Herkimer Co., New York
Overall Size: 4.2 x 3.2 cm
Flawless material is rare by any standard even from the famous Herkimer locality where crystals are often partially
filled with various inclusions, and as the photos show this one is a JEWEL. Another rarity from here, there is no
repair or damage even under the scrutiny of a loupe. Exquisite!

S12632 - Uvite - $250
Power's Farm, Pierrepont, St Lawrence Co., New York
Overall Size: 5.8 x 5.3 cm
An American classic and a source of good uvite specimens since 1830. Especially fine for the states, this
undamaged double term measures 3 x 2.5 cm in size in quartz. The luster strongly resembles the smoothness
of a mirror, showing its external quality.

S12640 - Smithsonite - $175
79 Mine, Banner District, Gila Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 6 x 4.4 cm
Colored deep vivid green by copper compounds, this glowing botryoidal crust has the color when one thinks of
79 mine smithsonite. The wonderful saturation was rarely encountered at the mine. An older specimen collected
in the mid-1990s by Phoenix based collectors. In good condition.

S12641 - Azurite with Malachite - $1750
New Cornelia Mine, Ajo, Pima Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 5 x 2.5 cm
The mine produced azurite pockets of highly individualized, sharp-edged crystals of considerable deep royal blue
color that occurred under the same circumstances as malachite, only with minor pseudomorphism at the base.
Such electrifying mixtures are highly prized by the display collector, and this one not only is well arranged and
VERY aesthetic, but also is free of damage, a small miracle given their tendency to chip. One of the treasures
in the Ostrinski collection.

S12643 - Pyromorphite - $450
Bunker Hill Mine, Kellogg, Shoshone Co., Idaho
Overall Size: 3.5 x 2 cm
If you like this style of branching groups in prismatic crystallization then this bright yellowish orange "cross"
projecting from gossan rich matrix certainly meets those aesthetic requirements, and though comparatively
small it is very pristine for a miniature. The Jersey vein of the Bunker Hill mine has produced outstanding
batches of pyros over the last 30 plus years.

S12645 - Columbite-(Fe) - $850 SOLD
Rubindi Pegmatite, Gatumba District, Kigali, Rwanda
Overall Size: 5 x 4.2 cm
Rarely talked about, near the capital of Kigali, is the obscure pegmatite field of Gatumba even though the area
has emerged as a top columbite/tantalite producer in Rwanda's mining industry we almost never see anything.
Partly, due to extracting columbite for ore instead of specimens, aside from this, the mineral increases in
desirability in highly reflective crystals, which we have here, making this one more than just locality.

S12646 - Pyromorphite - $475
Bunker Hill Mine, Kellogg, Shoshone Co., Idaho
Overall Size: 3.4 x 2.5 cm
These pretty "butterscotch" specimens of pyromorphite are not easy to obtain, especially in one hundred percent

prisms resemble some mimetite and vanadinite, two other knockout minerals. Nice rock!

A real stunner of remarkable coloration for pyromorphite, entirely bright, glassy and undamaged yellowish green
crystals from the worldclass pocket in 1981 that put Bunker Hill on the map. This spread of very succulent and
appealing crystals really is a strong miniature-sized cluster. In good condition.

These wulfenite crystals, the yummy legrandite-yellow color seen from very few localities, only measure to 1 cm,

contrasting rhombs of calcite.
