S9828 - Adamite - $500 SOLD
Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Overall Size: 5.5 x 5 cm
One of my favorites on the page. Specimens from this older pocket rarely surface in the market, and large
copper-rich adamites reaching 1 cm across like these can be very difficult to find. As mentioned the crystal
size is exceptional in spite of a whole slew of other features such as extreme luster, sharp definition, double
terminations, unique color, quality and richly crystallized. I cannot elaborate enough, but can say they are only
second to Tsumeb. No damage.

S9829 - Ilvaite with Calcite - $1300 SOLD
Laxey Mine, South Mountain, Idaho
Overall Size: 15.2 x 11 cm
Availability of good specimens now in the market remain scarce with loose single prisms typically seen in
smaller sizes, and honestly enormous cabinet sized plates are rare for the locality. Ilvaites measure a
whopping 4.5 cm long, too. Adhering calcite can be removed if one desires although best to leave it alone
for now considering the importance of the mine. Specialize in American minerals then what better treasure
to get for your case? Recently released from a local university collection where it had been hiding for
decades. Simply a premier locality for America, in fine condition.

S9830 - Rhodochrosite - $1050 SOLD
Uchucchaqua Mine, Lima Department, Peru
Overall Size: 5.2 x 3.7 cm
Absolutely stunning rhodo from Peru! Very well exposed gemmy cherry-red crystals up to 1.2 cm across rest
perfectly over matrix measuring 5.2 x 3.7 cm in overall size. Solid black manganese rich matrix allows for stark
contrast inbetween plump red rhodochrosites of mesmerizing effect. When examples exhibit the best top color
it deserves to be mentioned, no wonder the species is forever popular falling into the investment category of
mineral collecting. Really is a hard to beat species!

S9831 - Cassiterite - $100 SOLD
Viloco Mine, La Paz Department, Bolivia
Overall Size: 3.7 x 3.2 cm
Near floater of shiny bright faces all mirrorlike in appearance. Equally fine on the backside as well, only a
few minor trivial nicks hardly worth mentioning, but still definitely worth getting at this price given the size.

S9832 - Celestine - $145 SOLD
Lime City, Wood County, Ohio
Overall Size: 6.7 x 5 cm
Well formed blocky celestine crystals as the photos show. Very good when considering the pure white
surfaces have no ugly brown iron stains on the razor sharp faces. As a whole this cluster has super form.
From a collection just released, first time shown.

S9833 - Linarite with Brochantite - SOLD
Goulmina, Meknes-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
Overall Size: 10 x 4 cm
Thousands of brilliant blue and green crystals generously coat the matrix though linarites remain the most
highly prized. This piece is rich with the desirable electric-blue mineral being setoff by slender needles of
brochantite. Few productive areas at present, tremendous value for the foreseeable future.

S9834 - Rhodochrosite - $350
N'Chwaning II Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
Overall Size: 5 x 3 cm
Wonderful deep pink clusters lining matrix in an upright position that probably shows best as shown
depending on your eye, just a small dab of tack or glue is needed to mount this beauty. Today few
come up for sale, for these surfaced over 30 years ago and are still considered among the best, a
must have locality. In fine condition.

S9835 - Dioptase - SOLD
Cobra Mine, Ica Department, Peru
Overall Size: 6 x 4.2 cm
This fabulous dioptase spray has been unimpeded by other pre-existing crystals and is therefore
aesthetically isolated. Rare to see spherical clusters as Tiger and Tsumeb are the only two localities
that come to mind, so consider it hard to find. Measures 1.5 cm from end to end.

S9840 - Azurite - $285 SOLD
Kelly Mine, Magdalena District, New Mexico
Overall Size: 4.5 x 3.8 cm
Here is an elusive azurite from the now extinct well-known American locality. Intense large 1.1 cm bright
blue crystals rest on limonitic matrix with minute botryoidal crusts intermixed, note the green mineral isn't
malachite after cuprite indicative of Bisbee. Excellent locale with old label! No damage.

Unique sphere with the best color, luster and contrast for the famous locality. The large rich deep pink

Overall Size: 2.5 x 2.3 cm
Excellent! Fairly large single glassy sharp transparent to translucent gem rich deep blood-red
octahedron measuring 2.5 x 2.3 cm in overall size. Very colorful for a mineral, note the faces
are flat compared to many pieces. Truly remarkable crystal for its fine formation.

Good isolated rich deep pink tourmaline of 1.5 cm across is placed nicely upon white matrix

side are not as lustrous, but add extra color and quite attractive in person.

S9849 - Elbaite - $450
Momeik, Mogok, Myanmar
Overall Size: 5.3 x 4 cm
Textbook mushroom, well balanced and showy rich pink to red crystal measuring 5.3 x 4 cm in
maximum dimension. Highly aesthetic for the locality which has been producing material; however,
someday the source will be exhausted and we will be saying remember when.... Nice piece!
