S9623 - Beryl (Var. Emerald) - SOLD
Habachtal, Salzburg, Austria
Overall Size: 4.3 x 3.1 cm
Exquisite! For two simple reasons it's terminated and gemmy. I cannot tell you how many show broken ends
due to natural stress in the earth. Also rarely do preserved emerald specimens of rich green color survive the
cutter's wheel as this piece is of facet grade with a highly lustrous hexagonal prism of 1 cm long sitting frozen
in the typical surrounding schist matrix. A true European classic that is sought after today as one of the major
emerald localities in the world! Truly a worthwhile pick as well as damage free.

S9624 - Stellerite - $2600
Aurangabad Quarry, Jalgaon, India
Overall Size: 8.2 x 6 x 5 cm
Superb for the species! A very large oval-shaped stellerite of tightly compact crystallization as the images
show the incredible dimensions. Why so significant? Well, examples usually are either partial sprays or
buried in basalt rock making this specimen's overall form a factor in determining the value, so this beauty
gets high marks for complete shape. Very few come to mind with the symmetrical balance. In pristine
condition, a near "floater" placed upon a thin sliver of matrix. Very good aesthetic shape for the mineral!

S9625 - Vivianite - $465
Morococala, Oruro Department, Bolivia
Overall Size: 4 x 1.8 cm
Absolutely electrifying crystal! Sharp chiseled terminations greatly enhanced by intense blue highlights,
wow a bi-colored vivianite that is just pouring with color, certainly a cut above the rest for a miniature.
Hardly visible is the mirrorlike luster of smooth high-grade quality. Truly out of the ordinary piece, i.e. if
you love gem crystals. 4 x 1.8 cm.

S9626 - Barite - SOLD
Nuxis Mine, Iglesias, Sardinia, Italy
Overall Size: 7.3 x 6.5 cm
Quality and mineralogical appeal are two sound reasons to add this Italian classic to your collection. Very
similar to the English barites, only the Sardinian pieces are nearly half the price for the same impressive
barium sulfate. Glassy luster, transparency, parallel growth, fabulous terminations, no damage, etc...
the list could go on forever. No wonder this is valuable with so many attributes. Old-timer.

S9627 - Quartz (stalactite) - $400 SOLD
Hunan Province, China
Overall Size: 12 x 12 cm
Have you ever seen anything like this? A blue quartz stalactite! Standing tall and proud at a whopping 5
inches. We have all seen thousands of quartz from countless localities, yet this is strange enough to
notice. Obviously some type of inclusion is present. Worth acquiring if fond of the mineral.

S9628 - Fluorite with Barite - $375
Taourirt, Morocco
Overall Size: 8.5 x 5.5 x 4.2 cm
Transparent lavender colored cubes form a neat looking cluster of about 4.7 cm across on the middle
part of the matrix measuring 8.5 x 5.5 x 4.2 cm in overall size. Fine grouping of barite helps set off the
piece, perfect size for the case, good value.

S9632 - Calcite with Sphalerite - $235 SOLD
Trepca Mine, Stari Trg Village, Kosovo
Overall Size: 4.4 x 4 cm
Neat crystals of noticeable texture. Variations of calcite growth are to numerous to count along with vast
amounts of the common habits currently available however this type is clearly atypical and against iron rich
black sphalerite which attests to the origin of the world famous Trepca locality. Mined for centuries as
an important producer of lead and zinc. Longest xl measures 3.5 cm.

S9629 - Fluorite with Barite - $200
Taourirt, Morocco
Overall Size: 7.5 x 4 cm
Very showy and pleasing in addition to great contrast. The lavender cubes of 2 cm in length really
stand out against clean looking white barite. Stunning purple that only certain mines produce.

S9631 - Elbaite with Quartz - $475
San Piero di Campo, Elba Island, Italy
Overall Size: 2.5 x 2 cm
Well-known as the type locality for elbaite in addition to being an important producer of fine crystals.
Today, classic matrix pieces are extremely uncommon, for this style is usually regarded as first-rate
in many collections around the world, and it's the combination of history along with the popular species
that has justifiably magnified specimens from the locale. Prism stands 1 cm tall and is repaired.

S9633 - Aragonite - $400 SOLD
S. Giovanni Mine, Iglesias, Sardinia, Italy
Overall Size: 10.3 x 4.5 cm
Crazy-looking "mushroom" aragonite of 10.3 x 4.5 cm in size. The variety in minerals seem to be endless.
These opaque tan stalks extend out in an artistic arrangement unlike most other minerals. Sardinia produced
significant minerals at one time, so nice to see different material surface again. It will have visitors in awe due
to the physical properties as well as mineralogical interest.

S9634 - Galena with Fluorite - $165
Blackdean Mine, Cumbria, England
Overall Size: 5.8 x 3.4 cm
Great classic! Lustrous medium purple fluorites cluster together with brilliant galenas to form two high
quality minerals, association is easily recognizable as English, pleasing rock for the collection.
