S9528 - Realgar - $235 SOLD
Baia Sprie, Maramures, Romania
Overall Size: 3.7 x 3.7 cm
Absolutely stunning realgar from Romania! How often do you see crossed up doubly terminated crystals?
Hardly ever! The larger stout gemmy red prism is 2.2 x 1 cm in size. One would think gray matrix would be
ugly, but with this color combo it is striking! Top level piece for the country. Hard to beat in this size range.

S9529 - Mimetite - $475 SOLD
San Pedro Corralitos, Chihuahua, Mexico
Overall Size: 5.8 x 4 cm
Spectacular! What a piece for the shelf with this strong yellow and orange color! Attractive satin like
botryoidal crystals line the center portion of matrix measuring 5.8 x 4 cm in overall size. This well-known
find in 1968 is considered the best for its type of growth, standing among other locations worldwide for
the mineral. Very fine full miniature.

S9530 - Goethite after Siderite with Aegirine and Microcline - $600
Mt. Malosa, Zomba District, Malawi
Overall Size: 11 x 4.3 cm
Richly crystallized floater of several species makes this one a unique oddity. We have a pseudomorph
(top photos) as a crude mass with other minerals attached as it is hanging from the long doubly terminated
black aegirine of 11 cm in size that consists of sharp white microclines aesthetically placed upon one side
in a jacket-like fashion. In all it is a complex and interesting mineral specimen unlike many seen from
the locality, in excellent condition. Collector's piece for sure.

S9531 - Fluorite with Calcite - SOLD
Moscona Mine, Villabona, Spain
Overall Size: 10.3 x 6 cm
Wonderful coloration in these sharp penetration twins of translucent to transparent quality. This calcium
fluoride is rimmed by lustrous white calcite twisting artistically like a sculpture. Clearly distinctive looking
for a fluorite and definitely worth acquiring.

S9532 - Marcasite - SOLD
Blackstone Mine, Shullsburg, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin
Overall Size: 5 x 3.5 cm
Intriguing crystals of dark brassy patina measure about 2 cm tall in the close-up photo with 3.5 cm as the
entire length. Overall size: 5 x 3.5 cm. If sulfides are an area of interest you cannot go wrong with this
unusual piece, since few come up for sale it's safe to assume they will remain hard to find.

S9533 - Quartz (Var. Smoky) on Quartz (Var. Rose) - $185
Lavra da llha Pegmatite, Jequitinhonha River, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 4.4 x 3.5 cm
Transparent sharp glassy main smoky crystal reaching a near 2 cm in length rises up and out of contrasting
rose-pink quartz acting as a backdrop to this highly appealing specimen of 4.4 x 3.5 cm in overall size.
Uncommon to see with opposing colors in addition to not having the typical druse so many exhibit. Elegant
varieties of qtz.

S9538 - Elbaite - $500
Xanda Mine, Virgem da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 5.5 x 0.7 cm
Vivid colors! Flawless sharp single crystal measuring 5.5 x 0.7 cm in overall size is just excellent for
the species and of super quality. Very fine water-clear prism with multiple faces at the termination
as well, several remarkable zones of color for the mineral. Pristine!

S9539 - Elbaite - $500
Xanda Mine, Virgem da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 9 x 0.5 cm
Lustrous, good sized and nicely terminated bi-colored rich deep greenish blue tourmaline of 9 x 0.5
cm in overall size. Crystals from this area are usually not very clean pencils of flawless gem quality.
The termination has a thin pink cap indicative of the pegmatite. Lively without damage.

S9541 - Elbaite - $300
Xanda Mine, Virgem da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 6.8 x 0.5 cm
Very gemmy and glassy rich deep emerald-green crystal of 6.8 x 0.5 cm in size has a great gemlike
appearance and saturated look. Highly desirable in quality seen here, many have been cut into
gemstones, yet we managed to save this gem pencil. Great for the locality!

S9535 - Rhodochrosite - $175
N'Chwaning II Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
Overall Size: 3.5 x 1.5 cm
Wow, a hollow stalactite of pink rhodochrosite! The manganese carbonate in stalactitic form is nearly
unobtainable from most celebrated rhodo locales and here we have a see through piece from top to
bottom, truly choice small miniature for African material.

S9537 - Pyrite - $165 SOLD
N'Chwaning II Mine, Kuruman, South Africa
Overall Size: 10.2 x 5.8 cm
Slightly concave habit makes this pyrite appealing along with numerous shiny stacked crystals of 2.1 cm
across that greatly enrich the specimen, but even better is the 3 dimentional depth in hand, a must see.
Pretty red underlying matrix too, no damage.

S9540 - Wulfenite with Quartz coating - $150 SOLD
Finch Mine, Gila County, Arizona
Overall Size: 5 x 4 cm
Sparkling druse of quartz covers thin square orange crystals reaching up to 1.2 cm in length which rest
upon pleasing light blue hemimorphite matrix. Probably the best mine for the mix of species, quite
different for a wulfenite and not fragile.
