Exceptional pseudo! These calcites of 3.2 cm long are completely hollow throughout with only the exterior
shell of smithsonite that has replaced the original scalenohedral crystals. Very interesting from a mineral
standpoint. In addition to the fabulous glistening luster along with consistent overall quality and appealing
brown texture. One of those rocks that keep collecting interesting, in super condition.

As far as minerals go, this is from a relatively new find of excellent crystallization consisting of silvery-white
opaque sharp crystals up to 1.5 cm in length which sit clustered in individual groups on massive skutterudite
matrix. Spectacular representative plate of 4 inches, much brighter in person.

One of the more pure colors found in the mineral kingdom. Electric-blue clusters are scattered upon and
intermixed amid small vugs and crevices. Outstanding for the species in addition to being mineralogically
interesting and as attractive as one could hope to acquire for the mineral chalcophyllite. The azurite lined
pocket is very rare making this particular miniature probably the best of the lot.
