Broken Hill, N.S.W., Australia
Overall Size: 4.1 x 1.2 cm
Attractive miniature of 4.1 x 1.2 cm in the upright position. This elongated crystal has well developed xls

S8378 - Magnetite with Chalcopyrite - $1300
Aggenys Mine, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Overall Size: 5.1 x 2.3 cm
Excellent miniature! Specimen consists of mirror bright octahedral magnetites up to 1.4 x 1.3 cm in size
with intermixed brassy chalcopyrite matrix of 5.1 x 2.3 cm. Photos say it all, smooth faces against shiny
yellow put these nearly unobtainable pieces among the best ever found. Flashy and slick are two good
words to describe this African treasure which recently came back in a trade from a previous sale. It was
illustrated in Rocks & Minerals magazine.

S8372 - Barite - $175 SOLD
Four La Brouque, Puy de Dome, France
Overall Size: 4.7 x 2 cm
Unique for sure, is it a scepter? I am told these technically are scepters by experts from France. Photos were
taken from the front and backside. Crystal measures 4.7 x 2 cm in size and is the kind of barite we never see.

S8375 - Cassiterite - $600 SOLD
Xuebaoding, Sichuan Province, China
Overall Size: 6 x 6 cm
We have all seen these cassiterites by now although large well formed crystals of 6 x 6 cm in overall size
remain uncommon. In order to visualize the 3 dimensionality please draw or adjust the image before you
disregard it as a common tin oxide, not to shabby for a black rock! Comparable to examples from other
well-known collections. It is of course contacted at base, otherwise no damage.

S8370 - Villiaumite - SOLD
Aris, Namibia
Overall Size: 9 x 6.5 cm
Vibrant flawless gemmy red crystals up to 1 cm in length sit attractively on gray rock. The two features
that make the piece are color and transparency for this particular rarity. Mineral has perfect cleavage, so
almost all others are sections of what was once a larger villiaumite. The best quality comes from Namibia!

S8379 - Silver - $465 SOLD
Himmelsfurst Mine, Freiberg, Germany
Overall Size: 5.6 x 5 cm
Striking brilliant patina coating numerous crystals that are generously coating the rock. Over a century
ago specimens were mined from the famous German mine, and lately they have gained tremendous value.
No reason to see why history wont repeat itself. The matrix is rich with the desirable native element!

S8373 - Calcite - $475 SOLD
Sarbay-Sokolovskoe Mine, Rudnyy, Kazakhstan
Overall Size: 6.7 x 5.4 cm
Wow! Look at how gemmy this calcite is, see through! Very atypical to find a crystal 6.7 tall without
any internal flaws. If the species were a precious gemstone it would be cut immediately. Today few
come up for sale as these surfaced about 15 years ago, a true jewel. Measures: 6.7 x 5.4 cm.
