S8035 - Silver with Calcite - $9500 SOLD
Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico
Overall Size: 8.3 x 2.7 cm
The pursuit of fine large crystallized silver on matrix has never been easy to find since truly exceptional
specimens are elusive in private collections and on the current mineral market, it is a pleasure to see
such a long crystal of 6.3 cm standing vertically in an artistic twisting-like fashion. The kind of piece
that catches the viewers attention. Batopilas is one of the few major worldwide localities for the native
element that is right up there with the famous mines of Kongsberg. Today, this small cabinet size is very
popular with collectors and easy to see why just by looking at the photos. Silver has been a high
ranking collectible for centuries, so you can safely assume that the one shown with its aesthetic
balance will remain valuable, I guarantee it!

S8036 - Copper with Dolomite - SOLD
Mashamba West Mine, Shaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 9 x 6 cm
Here we have a gorgeous combo specimen, one of the best of its type! Hard to imagine a prettier piece for
the cabinet with the lustrous pink coating of cobalt rich dolomite that puts examples from the 1992 find in a
league apart from other coppers. The interconnected grouping which includes the crystals halfway down the
rock measure 6.5 cm long and rest on a nicely shaped matrix of 9 x 6 cm in overall size. Ones on this page
were held back until now by a private collector, very few surface these days. A classy looking piece!

S8037 - Silver with Calcite - $700 SOLD
White Pine Mine, Ontonagon County, Michigan
Overall Size: 6.8 x 2.3 cm
Highly reflective branching of intricate crystals forming into an arborescent growth pattern that resembles a
tree in appearance. This neat xl arrangement alone makes it worth purchasing! The majority of silvers are
coarse by nature without any structure, basically heavy and chunky, above is a very fine piece!

S8038 - Copper with Dolomite - $2300
Mashamba West Mine, Shaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 8.3 x 5.5 cm
Real stunner here folks! Hard to imagine a prettier piece than this lustrous pink cobalt-rich dolomite matrix
with crystallized coppers of 2.3 cm across. The rare association and obviously flaming color combination
could be anabsolutely perfect highlight to any case. This specimen has everything going for it, showy yet still
an advanced piece for the connoisseur of fine mineral specimens. Limited worldwide supply from
this pocket, a smart pick.

S8039 - Copper with Cuprite coating- $175
Rio Tinto Mine, Mtn. City, Nevada
Overall Size: 5 x 2.5 cm
Choice branching of rich deep reddish cuprite coated native copper crystals form into a nice "S" shaped
miniature. Examples from the mine aren't easily found in the mineral market, from a local collection.

S8040 - Copper with Dolomite - $500
Mashamba West Mine, Shaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 7 x 3.3 cm
Another unique copper from Africa! The beautiful crystallized cluster of 3 cm tall sits perched amid medium
pink rhombohedral dolomites on a matrix of 7 x 3.3 cm in overall size. Although the crystals are small the bronze
patina is lively and stands out in a most unusual association. Strong visual appeal!

S8041 - Copper with Calcite - $900
Quincy Mine, Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan
Overall Size: 6.4 x 3 cm
The best Michigan coppers have well defined crystals with smooth brown faces, two main reasons the state
has become world famous for the mineral. The piece above shows these qualities in a very classy way. Minor
white calcite sits attached in areas for some contrast, largest xl is 1.5 cm tall. If an area of interest you cannot
go wrong with this elegant specimen!

S8044 - Copper after Azurite - $265 SOLD
Rose Mine, Grant County, New Mexico
Overall Size: 3 x 2.6 cm
Rare to find a pseudomorph of copper after azurite rosette from this American locality as examples hardly
ever surface for sale. From a mineralogical standpoint, these are quite interesting and top locale for the
replacement mineral.

S8042 - Copper - $850
Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan
Overall Size: 10 x 2 cm
Almost 4 inches tall in the upright position, what a great copper to own! This super grouping of elongated
and twinned crystals is very large for its type of growth (branching spinel twins). It shows slight tarnishing,
many people prefer the "antique" look, so I didn't clean the piece. Outstanding specimen for those who can
appreciate a good copper.
