S7648 - Copper - $625 SOLD
New Cornelia Mine, Ajo, Arizona
Overall Size: 10 x 5 cm
Very nice grouping of copper crystals reaching 1 cm in size still maintains the natural patina look but could
be brighter with a quick dip if desired. Once fairly common but less is available today, at least in the 4 inch
size range. Photos are dead on as the mineral is easy to shoot, also displays well if flipped 180 degrees.

S7649 - Galena with Siderite - SOLD
Turt Mine, Satu Mare, Maramures, Romania
Overall Size: 6.8 x 5.5 cm
Highly lustrous, defined and truncated silvery galena crystals reaching 1.5 cm in length sit on attractive
dark yellow siderite of 6.8 x 5.5 cm in overall size, quality is common enough but the opposing matrix is
key here, contacted on backside, front is perfect.

S7644 - Proustite - $2300
Dolores Mine, Chanarcillo, Chile
Overall Size: 5 x 4.5 cm
Among collectors of worldwide minerals, proustite ranks at or near the top from this location. The fact that it's
a silver arsenic sulfide with cherry-red saturation and high luster make these extremely desirable, a rare species
in display quality, the ultimate for the connoisseur. Also historically important as well, miners encountered
vugs in the 1850's, all in all matchless for the stated reasons. This choice example of 5 x 4.5 cm in size has
crystals up to 1.2 cm in length. Halogen light was used to show the hidden true red color. If on your hit list it is a
good buy, considered one of the "holy grails" of mineral collecting and forever a treasure!

S7643 - Epidote - $1250
Knappenwand, Untersulzbachtal, Austria
Overall Size: 5 x 4 cm
Aesthetic crisscrossing of high quality rich green epidotes reaching up to 2.5 cm in length sit within bluish
green acicular needles known as the variety byssolite. The prism sides and terminations of the four main
crystals are in pristine condition, of course there are some non terminated ends typical for Austrian material.
Imagine extracting this piece out of a pocket as the natural breaks fall from the solid portion of the specimen.
Many show damage or repairs, it is what it is a fine miniature! Purchased around 1946 as written on label.
