S7628 - Andradite (Var. Melanite) - $150 SOLD
Ojos Espanoles, Chihuahua, Mexico
Overall Size: 4.7 x 3.5 cm
Highly lustrous and sharp dark opaque black crystals up to 1.8 cm across sit well as a group. Specimens
use to be fairly common when Mexico was producing, not the case today. Excellent for the collector who
likes garnets or miniatures, no damage.

S7631 - Rhodochrosite - $1650 SOLD
Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico
Overall Size: 5.7 x 3.2 cm
Absolutely stunning rhodo from Mexico! How often do you see one this good? Hardly ever! The very well
exposed gemmy red to pink crystal of 1.6 cm across sits in the upper portion of matrix measuring 5.7 x 3.2
cm in overall size. You would think the army-green surface would be ugly, but with this color combo it is
killer! Some bright galena xls are scattered about for added appeal. Isolation, balance, color, rarity and
quality make this one a top level piece for the country. Hard to beat!

S7629 - Wulfenite - $750
Ahumada Mine, Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico
Overall Size: 4.1 x 3.5 cm
Transparent, colorful and terminated on all sides! Crystals measuring 4.1 x 3.5 cm as seen here, they are very
large for the locality and it is in good shape, only a small break in the front and back, no big deal considering
nearly flawless xls are much rarer compared to the well-known cubes. Huge windowpane for Los Lamentos.

S7633 - Sphaerocobaltite - $250 SOLD
Styria, Austria
Overall Size: 6.5 x 5.5 cm
Attractive light to rich deep pink botryoidal coating on this classic specimen measuring 6.5 x 5.5 cm
in overall size, what a piece of history! Not only a rarity item but also pleasing to look at with a
reasonable price, comes with old labels.

S7634 - Strunzite - $1000
Hagendorf, Bavaria, Germany
Overall Size: 8.3 x 6 cm
Now here is a good rock for the species! Plenty of acicular pale yellow crystals reaching 1.2 cm in length are
to numerous to count within this brown matrix of 8.3 x 6 cm in overall size. When examples become available
xls seem to be smaller and in patchy growth. These are equally abundant on the backside. Exceptional for the
manganese iron phosphate that is found in a pegmatite, an unexpected environment for such a mineral. I have
not seen a richer specimen for sale on the market, a must see.

S7632 - Magnetite with Peridot - $800
Suppat, Kohistan, Pakistan
Overall Size: 3.2 x 2.7 cm
When in association specimens from this area seem to have a large magnetite with a small peridot or vice
versa, here both species are well crystallized and aesthetically placed against one another. The sharp gray
magnetite of 2.5 cm in length has grown on the back part of the peridot's termination forming a composite
of 3.2 x 2.7 cm in size. From all angles it has a 3 dimensional depth in person, the kind of sculpture effect
suitable for competition in the thumbnail/toenail size range, exquisite!

S7637 - Quartz (Var. Rose) - $435
Sapucaia Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 7.5 x 4.7 cm
Transparent sharp glassy rose-pink main crystal of 1.3 cm long rises up and out of alike xls in cluster form
with contrasting whitish quartz acting as a backdrop to this highly appealing small cabinet piece. Hard to
find with opposing colors and not with the typical solid drusy appearance many exhibit. Large center crystal.

S7630 - Corundum (Var. Ruby) - $450
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 9 x 6 cm
Choice tapered rich deep purplish red crystals up to 4 cm in length are completely frozen in sharply
contrasting white matrix of 9 x 6 cm in overall size. Highly attractive for corundum and choice for locality,
you will not be disappointed, guaranteed.

S7639 - Fluorite with Chalcopyrite - $175 SOLD
Pea Ridge Mine, Washington County, Missouri
Overall Size: 1.8 x 1.7 cm
Choice thumb for the U.S.. Locale is rarely seen in collections. This one having a brassy yellow chalcopyrite
attached to the side face of interconnected purple cubes. Underside is crystallized making it a complete
floater, original label accompanies the piece.

S7640 - Corundum (Var. Ruby) - $450
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 10 x 6 cm
Lengthy variety of rich red to pink corundum measuring up to 5.2 cm in length is completely frozen in sharply
contrasting white matrix of 10 x 6 cm in overall size. Highly attractive for ruby, Strong example of a
desirable species and great for Africa!

S7638 - Brookite - $600 SOLD
Monte Brigaceto, Genova, Italy
Overall Size: 7.5 x 4.2 cm
Sharply terminated flat gem red brookite crystal of 0.7 cm tall sits centered upon alpine matrix. The strong
rich color has only a few rival localities. This style may be more for the appreciative collector with in-depth
mineral knowledge as it's both rare from Italy and very fine for the species, images are accurate.

S7642 - Beryl (Var. Emerald) - $350
Habachtal, Salzburg, Austria
Overall Size: 5 x 3 cm
Rarely preserved emeralds of rich green color survive for the cutter's wheel, for this piece is of passable
cabochon grade. The lustrous hexagonal beryl crystal of 1 cm long sits frozen in surrounding schist matrix.
European classic sought after today as one of the major emerald localities in the world!

S7641 - Fluorite with Quartz - $275 SOLD
Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan Province, China
Overall Size: 10.2 x 7 cm
These days I try to stay away from this mine because of the mass supply available; however, the light
and dark purple color on this fluorite with the doubly terminated quartz of 7.5 cm in length was to
much of a tease. For the cabinet, it's showy without leaving you broke, a worthwhile pick.
