S12816 - Erythrite with Quartz - $4300
Aghbar Mine, Bou Azzer District, Souss Massa Draa Region, Morocco
Overall Size: 9.5 x 7.2 cm
Erythrite is a rare mineral of striking crimson-red to dark violet color that literally leaps out at you! Bou Azzer has produced
the prettiest as well as finest specimens to date. This soft non-elastic mineral is prone to damage during the extraction
process and recovery of perfect crystals can be extremely difficult, so to see one in this size range and in this condition is
remarkable, especially since these crystals sit unprotected on quartz, which lucky for us only makes them MUCH more
pronounced in person. Displays as shown, no base needed. A cabinet piece to die for.

S12817 - Azurite with Malachite - $5500 SOLD
Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 12.4 x 9 cm
Absolutely GORGEOUS and HIGHLY prized! This shade of cobalt blue is an all-time favorite of mine. Paved with glistening
microcrystals over limonitic gossan to form a bright blue carpet of botryoidal growth. This type of visually stimulating
bowl is the epitome of display impact azurite, AND as nice as some of the darker colored ones are, they do not have this
wonderful glow-like effect. It has always been desirable among collectors of Bisbee minerals where for the better
part of a century world-class specimens made the locality famous, in particular the various styles of azurite and no other
species is more closely associated with the mines. The shape of the specimen is nearly impossible to get into perfect
focus, but don't worry it is a bed of glitter in real life. 12.4 x 9 cm.

Overall Size: 10 x 4 cm
Brilliantly marked iridescent peacock patina in very flashy and outright blinding texture from this classic Saxony locality

bonus they sit on a bed of white dolomite. Simply stunning! Individual damage free crystals measure 2.2 cm.

S12821 - Malachite after Azurite - $3500 SOLD
Campbell Shaft, Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 4.4 x 3.3 cm
Lots of good things to say about this piece! These Bisbee pseudomorphs of a past era are very much in demand today
since their unmistakable silky forest-green malachite after azurite has to be the premier American locality for this
type of pseudo, and the well balanced aesthetic "V" shape as shown from each side is probably its most noticeable
feature that comes to mind, but that's not all, specimen comes with Lazard Cahn label!

S12822 - Aragonite - $600
Trompia Valley, Brescia Province, Italy
Overall Size: 16.7 x 13 x 4.6 cm
This huge plate measuring 16.7 x 13 x 4.6 cm is from a new find in Italy. Similar to Montana aragonite, this burnt
two-tone shade of orange is bursting with color and about to jump off the page! Such display specimens give
special prominence to a shelf. A JUICY item.

S12826 - Azurite - $700
Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 6.5 x 5.2 cm
Electrifying mounds of concentric banding sit overlapping one another in botryoidal form to create a velvety outer shell
of azure-blue flanked by bright sky blue. This style definitely falls into the category of being a U.S. classic! This riveting
color has been sought after since they were first discovered more than a century ago.

S12827 - Copper - $685 SOLD
Campbell Shaft, Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 6.7 x 5.5 cm
Copper, as the native element, has been recognized in several shafts just outside of Bisbee though the largest
crystals have been found as skeletal twins. Here we have an excellent 4.2 cm long crystal of sharp form and antique
texture poking out of alike matrix. Many collectors consider this locale among the most famous and prolific of
all American mineral localities.

S12829 - Azurite with Malachite - $2200 SOLD
Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 5 x 4.7 cm
MUCH better in person as the highly exposed rosette in perfect diamond shape speaks volumes about what kind of
hard to find specimen it is. Uncommon to see one so geometrically oriented in this manner. Over the years a sea of
average azurite on typical limonite has come from underground workings. This 360 degree miniature was recently
released by a friend of mine from Milan, Italy. No damage, a MUST see!

S12831 - Wulfenite with Dioptase - $400
Mammoth St. Anthony Mine, Tiger, Pinal Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 8 x 5 cm
This is a classic signature combo from the mine and a fairly rare association worldwide, with individualized reddish
wulfenites peeking out of a vug of gemmy rich green dioptase which is itself surrounded by very pale bluish white
chalky matrix. Better color than most, 8 x 5 cm.
S12832 - Cinnabar with Siderite - $1800 SOLD
Styrian Erzberg, Eisenerz, Styria, Austria
Overall Size: 5.3 x 5.2 cm
Cinnabar from Styrian Erzberg in the Austrian alps are real classics and nearly impossible to find for sale. Known for
their vivid ruby-red gem crystals against siderite (or possibly ankerite) matrix acting as the best possible shade of
greenish brown to highlight such a crystal. Most crystals measure less than 5 mm whereas this one
is just shy of 1 cm. Collecting is now strictly forbidden.

S12833 - Cerussite with Smithsonite - $4000
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 9.5 x 5.6 cm
Smithsonite is the most abundant secondary zinc mineral at the mine and comes in a wide array of colors, plus it was
first described in 1832 and named for English chemist and mineralogist , James Smithson (1754-1829), whose
estate financed the Smithsonian Institution. I have always loved the appearance of this pocket with its crystals
going from a charged NEON green to a less vigorous shade of pale green. If that weren't enough from the great mine
we also have, as an added bonus, several cerussite twins placed over the piece to give it that extra boost of rarity. In
all the piece is impressive and shows interesting crystallization. In good condition.

S12834 - Smithsonite - $425 SOLD
Masua Mine, Carbonia-Iglesias Province, Sardinia, Italy
Overall Size: 7.5 x 7 cm
Formerly abundant as splendid thick solid botryoidal material in lead-zinc deposits at Sardinia, Italy. Today the
wild yellow to orange smithsonite is rarely encountered on the market. Under the correct light this showy piece,
though less apparent in the photo, imparts a twinkling appearance. 7.5 x 7 cm.

S12837 - Malachite - $325
Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 6.3 x 4.7 cm
Bisbee has been among the leading American mineral localities for over 100 years. This type of smooth compact
green malachite interlaced with bright blue azurite is a good illustration. Would make a wonderful addition.

this miniature sized specimen.
