Only a small number of pure rich deep purple vivianites come from the Blackbird mine, and this piece is truly 
exceptional. It's just as shown if not better in hand. The very smooth lustrous surface shows the quality at the 
highest level as well as internally flawless! Measures: 5.8 x 1.6 cm in size. Killer gem crystal!




S7054 - Rhodochrosite with Quartz - $4250 SOLD  
American Tunnel, Sunnyside Mine, Colorado  
Overall Size: 11.5 x 10.8 cm
A highly attractive well contrasting pink rhodochrosite specimen from this famous American mining locality. 
Production ceased several decades ago and larger pieces pictured here remain very much a collector item! 
The undamaged rhombohedral crystal measures about 2 cm across with solid sugary white quartz matrix. 
Extremely fine cabinet sized rhodo that would make a colorful and pleasing addition.

Classic! Shiny nicely defined single bournonite measuring 4.3 x 3.2 cm in overall size from what is considered 
the top locale for bournonite and one of the important early finds of mineral collecting. The crystal is of good size, 
front and back photos shown. BMNH label accompanies the piece.

Overall Size: 4.2 x 1.1 cm
Fine marialite miniature! Deeply striated and totally water-clear yellow prism of 4.2 x 1.1 cm in overall size 
with multiple faces at the termination. While specimens have been fairly uncommon in recent years this 
one is in very good condition for a softer mineral, the majority exhibit significant chatter.




S7056 - Apatite-(CaF) with Muscovite - SOLD  
Chumar Bakhoor, Northern Areas, Pakistan  
Overall Size: 6.5 x 4.2 cm
Resplendent thin silvery muscovites sit intergrown amid highly glassy sharp pink Apatite-(CaF) crystal 
reaching 3.6 cm in length to form a damage free specimen. One of the more desirable species coming from 
pegmatites within Pakistan. Props up well too.

Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona  
Overall Size: 17 x 10 cm
Large colorful and attractive piece from one very famous mine, it would look good in a case! Full representation 
of botryoidal malachite covers the specimen quite well compared to many examples in addition to several 
intense blue azurites scattered across the plate adding greatly to the overall appeal. This one is worth owning 
since few of gigantic size are offered, 7 inches to exact! A stunner not to pass up, in top condition.

Nicely terminated lustrous medium blue spray measuring 2.5 cm across sits against colorful orange sulfur 
that displays well from different angles. These two minerals look great on the same matrix, a real stunner!

Overall Size: 6 x 4.5 cm
For the specimen size this Apophyllite-(KF) has it all! Good seafoam-green color, completely transparent 
tips and undamaged main doubly terminated crystal measuring 6 cm long! It sits perfectly on white matrix 
of 6 cm tall, some Stilbite-Ca are in association. If you have wanted a good one then this jewel is for you!

Super gemmy and glassy isolated growths of rich deep cinnamon-brown crystals up to about 1 cm in length 
rest near the lower portion of grayish blue matrix, fine contemporary garnet for Russia! Razor sharp crystals!

Choice thumbnail! Complete all around, lustrous and of gem quality! Purple crystal measures 2.1 x 2 cm in 
size and sits with a small piece of contrasting albite. Cookeite on backside, highly collectible thumbnail.

Gemmy and glassy isolated growths of rich deep cinnamon-brown crystals up to 0.8 cm in length rest near 
the upper portion of grayish blue matrix of 3.7 x 2 cm in size. Good garnet showing wet-like luster!

Overall Size: 7.4 x 3.2 cm
Old rock known as blister copper. This round variety of chalcopyrite is very rare and quite interesting for 
collectors of such things, esoteric type of mineral. The size is 5.4 x 3.2 cm. A piece of history!

Single doubly terminated orange tipped strontianite of 2.1 x 0.6 cm in overall size. Important old European 
locality that is a true classic in my book. Very distinctive zoning and eye catching feature, affordable too.
