S6503 - Betafite - $1000 SOLD
Ambolotara, Befalo, Madagascar
Overall Size: 5 x 4.3 cm
Wow! What large crystals for the species! Very nice from all sides as it is a complete and unusual red/
brown/yellow surface texture for a mineral, quite different from many species. Worthy of any collection
as specimens of such magnitude are hard to obtain, opportune time to buy an old betafite.

S6505 - Spodumene (Var. Kunzite) - $1250 SOLD
Mawi, Laghman Province, Afghanistan
Overall Size: 6.7 x 2.5 cm
Fine doubly terminated lilac colored prismatic crystal of 6.7 x 2.5 cm in size with contrasting white albite matrix
of good balance. Although some kunzites are quite large from Afghanistan many exhibit a frosted or dull
surface on all sides, not the case here! Front face is glassy and easy to see the inner gem quality, much more
evident in hand. Aesthetic crystal from a small new find.

S6501 - Chalcocite - $950 SOLD
Flambeau Mine, Ladysmith, Wisconsin
Overall Size: 4.4 x 4 cm
Pleasing coating of thin purplish blue patina over opaque chalcocites. This relatively new find is exceptional
for the species, and good examples are rare. Also sharp crystallization for the well-known copper sulfide
I'd say attractive compared to others, so take advantage!

S6502 - Quartz cast after Calcite - $225
Pine Creek Tungsten Mine, Inyo County, California
Overall Size: 3.7 x 2.5 cm
Razor sharp edges of lustrous white quartz epimorphs after calcite forming a complete crystal on the outside
yet hollow on the inside. The strange cross hatching shows rhombohedral structure from a very thin
coating of calcite, or so I am told. Piece is 3.7 x 2.5 cm in overall size, peculiar oddity.
