S11132 - Quartz (Var. Amethyst) - $600 SOLD
Brandberg, Erongo Region, Namibia
Overall Size: 5 x 3.7 cm
This pair of double scepters side by side is incredibly rare to be frank, for its aesthetic "V" shape is not
typical in pockets as most crystallize as straight singles, on top of that the intense rich purple color
nearly fills the inside, and with a little bit of backlighting the piece will certainly come to life.
No damage.

S11133 - Calcite with Duftite - $250 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.8 x 3.6 cm
Attractive minutely crystallized rich grass-green duftite or possibly mottramite has completely coated
all sides of matrix. Undamaged calcite rhombs reach almost 1.5 cm; they are an unusual gray color.

S11134 - Beryl (Var. Aquamarine) - $1750 SOLD
Calilea, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 5 x 4.2 cm
Much better in person! Brazil has produced an astounding number of gem minerals; however, some
pegmatite species, such as aqua, remain fairly difficult to obtain in fine unique crystals, even with abundant
mediocre beryls at the source. Here we have a deeply etched hexagonal prism surrounding and intact
and untouched flat basal termination of glasslike quality! You can read a newspaper through it!
Additionally, any amount of light causes fascinating dispersion as if one was viewing a big cut stone.
This half pristine half dissolved appearance is truly remarkable. Again, very impressive in hand.
Measures 5 x 4.2 cm.

S11135 - Hematite - $3500 SOLD
Cavradi, St. Gotthard Region, Switzerland
Overall Size: 5.8 x 5.2 cm
Large mirror bright "flower" of 4.5 cm tall lines the ridge of its alpine host matrix. Cavradi is a true classic
that has been given such a title for well formed high quality crystals evident in the photos. They still find
Swiss material regardless of this one coming from an old collection, whose name will be released to the
buyer. The other noteworthy characteristic is the absence of damage as many xls shatter while collecting
due to the tough rock. Super piece.

S11138 - Vivianite - $4200 SOLD
Huanuni Mine, Oruro Department, Bolivia
Overall Size: 5.5 x 5.2 cm
Superb, which is no surprise as the finest vivianites come from Bolivia, and from within that country only
one area has produced such aesthetic sprays. These surfaced before 1979. Considered exceptional
due to the pinwheel crystallization and rich blue color, in this case an unbelievable blue and green bicolor.
This flaring cluster reaches 5.2 cm from tip to tip. If that weren't enough its contrasting matrix cradles every
prismatic damage free crystal. Easily one of the nicest from the find. Naturally, transparent minerals catch
ones eye, and this flawless gem screams! The entire package!

S11140 - Mimetite with Smithsonite - $700 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.7 x 3.8 cm
Every pocket from the well-known mine seems to be distinctive such as these bright lemon-drop yellow
mimetites perched on top of semitransparent white smithsonites gravitating toward the outer edge of
dark chocolate-brown matrix, a kind of three phase contrast. This combo isn't unheard of, just
immensely eye-catching and interesting. Good Tsumeb rock.

S11143 - Wulfenite with Dolomite - $325
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 3.5 x 2.5 cm
1.4 cm crystal smack-dab in the center of dolomite coated matrix. A very cute small miniature as shown
or flipped 180 degrees, either way light will catch its sharp faces. In fine condition.

S11144 - Quartz (Var. Amethyst) with Quartz - $300 SOLD
Brandberg, Erongo Region, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.5 x 3.6 cm
Drusy white quartz wraps around two sharp rich purple amethysts resembling snow covered peaks.
Like the above Brandberg, this was bought for being somewhat different. No damage.
S11145 - Quartz - $675
Giuaf, Graubunden, Switzerland
Overall Size: 9.3 x 5 cm
Pristine would be an understatement! Fine smoky quartz crystals are well-known from Switzerland, and
this extra smooth prism is not only highly glassy but has a fantastic long steep termination. For the
infinite number of quartz specimens in the world, it is always a pleasure to see these Swiss
beauties. Damage free.

S11150 - Zoisite (Var. Tanzanite) with Calcite - $1200 SOLD
Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania
Overall Size: 3.1 x 2.8 cm
Recent finds have produced some outstanding singles of tanzanite if compared to the early days of
mining, but it is matrix pieces that have been in the minority, and for this stand-alone reason value
is greater by size. If this were four inches or the actual size seen here on your monitor, imagine the
price. Excellent trichroism and luster on this modern classic.

S11152 - Fluorite - $350 SOLD

Exquisite gemmy pastel pink fluorites up to 1.5 cm on edge sit upon shiny black sulfide matrix of 2.7 x
2.5 cm. Surprisingly, tracking down any of these pieces is a real challenge, at least ones from the
original find where the quality surpasses the new stuff. A gem!
