S11421 - Hemimorphite - $1300
Dulong Sn Zn Deposit, Yunnan Province, China
Overall Size: 5.3 x 1.2 cm
For several years now readily available lots have been emerging from this mineral rich country; therefore, it
is encouraging to find one of the nicest hemimorphites I have seen from China or for that matter anywhere.
Completely off the charts in terms of stalactitic growth from here, for such external form clearly defines a
piece, one could even go so far as to say unique. Bright blue color as well!

S11422 - Calcite - SOLD
Richelsdorf, Hesse, Germany
Overall Size: 4.8 x 3.8 cm
Gorgeous highly saturated, tightly packed, rose-pink bundles of cobalt-rich calcite spread thinly over
accompanying matrix makes for another distinctly different variety of the species of which one never seems
to run out of possibilities. Fine examples come from few world wide sources, and this locale is very rare.

S11423 - Manganite with Barite - $6800 SOLD
Ilfeld, Harz Mountains, Germany
Overall Size: 7.2 x 4.7 x 4.3 cm
During photography, although unintentional images swing one of two ways, better or worse than the actual
specimen, in this case the superb luster and 3 dimensional depth of the piece are only a fraction of how
great the rock is in person, don't get me wrong, all four photos are good, just not entirely accurate. This is
one of those pieces where you will be pleasantly surprised upon opening the package. Aside from this, its
parts consist of a single well terminated manganite nearly 2.5 cm in height positioned on alike matrix, that
is completely absent of the typical splintery texture seen on many crystals, and as a bonus pure white
triangular barites amplify what is normally a black rock from the established manganese deposit of Ilfeld,
Harz Mountains, Germany. Wonderful classic from the type locality.

S11426 - Calcite - $600
Richelsdorf, Hesse, Germany
Overall Size: 6.2 x 4.4 cm
Calcite, such as this peculiar offshoot, occurs in a bewildering variety with no limit to the distinctly different
styles one may collect, for instance who would have thought this strange thing existed. These attractive
rose-pink pieces rarely become available from this locality.

S11427 - Benitoite with Neptunite - $1600
Benitoite Gem Mine, New Idria District, San Benito Co., California
Overall Size: 6 x 5.6 cm
Probably because of the uniqueness, value as a gemstone, sole producer, etc., benitoite and neptunite specimens
remain highly desirable today if not ten times several years from now for those of us familiar with the nearly defunct
mine and approximate number of pieces floating around out there. An all in one specimen, meaning these two
illustrious minerals grew in-between white natrolite to represent the deposit. A sound investment, no damage.

S11428 - Wulfenite - $480 SOLD
Touissit Mine, Oujda, Morocco
Overall Size: 5.7 x 3.6 cm
Bright sulfur-yellow butterfly look-alike has dimensions of 5.7 x 3.6 cm in overall size, quite impressive, but the
tabular wulfenite on top measures an incredible 4 cm in length. A few expected breaks, visible in photo, think
of it as a trade-off for maximum crystal size. Showy and without a huge price.

S11430 - Fluorite with Calcite - $425 SOLD
Bom da Lapa, Bahia, Brazil
Overall Size: 3.5 x 3 cm
Excellent! Brazil is not known for the species, and I cannot recall seeing a damage free specimen from the
find. It's cleaved on lower backside, still an incredible locality fluorite of which I find acceptable in order to
fill a missing gap in collection. Strong magenta zones glow from underneath slightly frosted faces
reaching 3.5 cm on edge.

S11431 - Fluorite with Calcite - $350
Bom da Lapa, Bahia, Brazil
Overall Size: 4.2 x 3.5 cm
Mild reddish purple zones glow from underneath irregular faces reaching nearly 3.7 cm tall. Brazil is not known
for the species, and I cannot recall seeing a damage free specimen from the find. It's cleaved on the left
side, still an incredible locality fluorite of which I find acceptable in order to fill a missing gap in collection.

S11432 - Smithsonite on Rosasite - $900 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.5 x 3.1 cm
So many distinctive colors of smithsonite occur at Tsumeb like these well crystallized copper-rich apple-green
rhombs up to 0.7 cm in size placed sparingly over velvety bluish-green rosasite. Exceedingly rare pocket to
find and another example of highly developed crystals in unique association from the famous mine. Clearly
a high quality miniature specimen, spectacular!

S11433 - Malachite after Azurite with Calcite - $850 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 6.3 x 5.2 cm
No matter the extent of individuality, Tsumeb is known for some of the best examples of azurite in the world, that
is each successive pocket seems to be made up of entirely different composition such as crystal size, associated
species, type of pseudomorphs and so on, which has been proven over time to be almost exclusively confined to
this mine or at least to this extreme. This towering 2.8 cm malachite after azurite stands nearly engulfed in
calcite and is a good visual explanation of the above comments.

S11434 - Smithsonite on Tennantite - $825
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 9 x 4 cm
Another one-of-a-kind find from the celebrated mine. This time we have rosy pink smithsonites coating tetrahedral
tennantites of 2.5 cm in length giving the specimen a pleasing two generation appearance. Exceptional form and
color for this pocket, widely regarded as first-rate for the combo, 9 x 4 cm in overall size.

S11435 - Muscovite with Quartz - $300
Genipapo Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Overall Size: 6.5 x 3.5 cm
Wonderful star of muscovite hangs from medium blue quartz caused by inclusions of gem quality tourmaline
commonly known as indicolite. Doubly terminated prism of great transparency when held to light.

S11437 - Titanite with Orthoclase - $265
Tormiq Valley, Northern Areas, Pakistan
Overall Size: 3.3 x 2.5 cm
Super cluster of blocky (one doubly terminated) grass-green titanite crystals up to 3.3 cm long with no point of
attachment. Fine large thumbnail or small miniature.

S11438 - Titanite with Orthoclase - $135
Tormiq Valley, Northern Areas, Pakistan
Overall Size: 3.3 x 3 cm
Out of the ordinary fat blocky grass-green titanite crystals measuring 2.2 x 1.2 cm in size rest on white matrix.
Rare to see this thick, lively with lots of flash in person.

S11442 - Titanite with Orthoclase - $110
Tormiq Valley, Northern Areas, Pakistan
Overall Size: 2.5 x 2 cm
Cute doubly terminated grass-green thumbnail nicely positioned against sharp white orthoclase.
