S11721 - Cerussite with Malachite - $3250 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 5 x 3.7 cm
Normally as a rule, the vast majority of cerussite from Tsumeb is without associated minerals of super-strong
color to jazz them up like this lush green specimen, which has to be one of the most striking combos from
the mine. Gem clear and in good condition, these twins to 2 cm sit well on malachite, in fact to give you an
idea of the crystal quality, I can see directly through to underlying malachite. Certainly rare to see such
a lively example with exceptional contrast.

S11722 - Cuprite - $2600
Mashamba West Mine, Shaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 2.9 x 2.2 cm
For a high-end copper thumbnail, this is a high-end cuprite! Entirely damage free specimen of the utmost
3 dimensional form and bright red metallic sheen. The first thing to stress is the complete make up of the
piece, if it had a single feature out of place it wouldn't be competition level. Floaters from here are quite
unusual in smooth highly lustrous octahedral groups as the photos show, imagine ten times better in person.
Just released from a top collection. Blood-red when backlit!

S11725 - Tourmaline (Var. Indicolite) - $5200
Mawi, Laghman Province, Afghanistan
Overall Size: 5.6 x 1 cm
WOW, check out that Caribbean Sea-blue color! Exceedingly difficult to find since the gem trade chops up every
usable scrap from this pegmatite, which is unfortunately what happened to this parcel of crystals before I
rescued this exquisite gem clear indicolite. On a scale of lively bright color, only the famous Paraiba elbaites
surpass Afghanistan material and to be fair their chromophores are entirely different. This doubly terminated pencil
grades upward into pure electric-blue completely absent of any green overtones, and on top of that, let's not forget
about the 100% transparency extending from top to bottom, significant value as a cut stone alone. An outright superb
and captivating tourmaline that is among the prettiest you will ever see.

S11726 - Silver with Calcite - $2800 SOLD
New Nevada Mine, Batopilas, Chihuahua, Mexico
Overall Size: 7.7 x 3.8 cm
Slender white branch of silver grew to 6.7 cm from hidden calcite matrix. When easy to view and not interlocked
sponge-like masses, these well crystallized Mexican silvers are some of the finest and brightest on planet earth,
far more attractive than the greater number of localities which produce specimen grade silvers, in part due to
intricately crystallized repetitive twinning known to occur here, and this elegant piece isn't too shabby. Such large
twins are most unusual in other world wide deposits. Splendid native element!

S11728 - Bornite - $3000 SOLD
Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan
Overall Size: 3 x 2.8 cm
MONSTER! ABSOLUTE MONSTER! What can I say that the photos don't already convey?!?! Brilliantly marked
iridescent peacock patina over what has to be one of the finest bornites known if not for size then surely beauty,
and as an added bonus we have about fifteen smaller crystals nicely placed around the side faces, in addition
to blinding flashes of purple and blue showing well in reflected light. In person this specimen is shockingly good,
seriously it is shockingly good!

S11729 - Azurite with Malachite - $650 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 3.7 x 3.5 cm
Stunning light blue azurites up to 1.7 cm sit rimmed by an even lighter blue matrix. Important to note, the edges
are natural and not broken, so in all with some contrasting green malachite we have a gorgeous Tsumeb
miniature specimen.

S11730 - Cerussite - $2500 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 5.7 x 4 cm
Predominately colorless to white with slightly silky chatoyancy, these wonderfully elongated crystals stand 4.2 cm
from matrix, but what is significant is the overall condition of the piece, no damage, not even minor chips.
Those of us familiar with cerussite know it is a small miracle to find a pristine example. This mineral occurs in
great variety, but for me, the habit shown is nice and somewhat atypical of the commonly seen sixling twins.

S11731 - Calcite with Hematite inclusions - $1000 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 7 x 4.5 cm
These hematite included calcites have formed in stacked groups of between 3.6 cm and 5.5 cm across, with
illuminated light the reddish brown matrix from underneath will give off a warm glow since it is so gemmy,
literally resembling glass in person. Very attractive Tsumeb calcite!

S11732 - Azurite with Malachite - $1800 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 5 x 3.8 cm
What a cool 3.5 cm crystal from the world famous mine! These pronounced bar-like azurites on a thin carpet of
velvety green malachite were exclusive to the pocket and this one is probably the nicest aesthetically shaped
specimen from what I've seen out of several larger misshapen examples with an attached stigma of being dogs,
yet this piece is far from doggy. Remarkable piece to own and enjoy.

S11733 - Malachite with Quartz - $325 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 9.2 x 6 cm
Several forest-green balls of malachite mixed amid whitish quartz crystals over matrix, 9.2 x 6 cm in size.

S11734 - Cerussite with Mottramite - $675
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.3 x 4 x 2.7 cm
Good example of why Tsumeb specimens are considered unique compared to other world wide localities
that don't produce great associations. If not for wonderful grass-green microcrystalline mottramite sparingly
placed on some faces this would still be an okay cerussite. There is a break on the lower left side;
otherwise, it is in pretty good condition for the price.

S11735 - Smithsonite - $850 SOLD
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.1 x 3.3 cm
Different type of copper-rich smithsonite from here, for one the crystals are an odd shade of yellowish green
and for another they have distinct color zoning, very unusual for the mineral. Largest rhomb measures 1 cm tall.
Colorful well crystallized smithsonite is known from only a few locations in the world, and Tsumeb is always the
measuring stick from where we compare, that said, this is very fine for the size range.

S11736 - Chalcocite - $725
Flambeau Mine, Ladysmith, Wisconsin
Overall Size: 2.8 x 2 cm
It has been said that chalcocites from this find rank as the best to come from the U.S. in nearly 150 years,
bias aside, they do have great form and colorful patina that must be of overriding importance in this case.
This one is complete all around displaying nicely from at least three angles shown above. An American
treasure!

S11737 - Bornite with Quartz - $400 SOLD
Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan
Overall Size: 3.4 x 2.8 cm
Faint bluish metallic oxidation coating over this isolated bornite of 2.2 x 1.6 cm in size directly plopped on
top of a small thin glassy quartz matrix. Very choice specimen for this out of the way locality. No damage.

S11738 - Libethenite - $375
Rokana Mine, Kitwe, Zambia
Overall Size: 2.6 x 2 cm
Deep green, sharp, highly lustrous and damage free libethenite thumbnail from the world's number one
locality for the species. Good crystal size for the copper phosphate hydroxide.
