Overall Size: 3.8 x 2.5 cm

Tiny, gemmy and in this case rare green crystals scattered over two and a half balls of reddish calcite. Each
quartz shines bright with little gleams of light as if they were brilliant gems, especially under showcase lights.
In general material from this mine is unavailable.

S11819 - Pyrite - $425 SOLD
Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico
Overall Size: 6.7 x 5.1 cm
Amazing super-bright compact aggregates from this well-known locality have always fascinated collectors.
Easy to see why. These beautifully crystallized disco balls light up in any room, so imagine how cool this
3.8 x 3.6 cm sphere is in person. No damage.

S11823 - Azurite with Malachite - $800
Copper Queen Mine, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona
Overall Size: 4.2 x 2.2 cm
Fine soft stalactitic mild green malachite features two spherically shaped azure-blue crystals up to a mere 1.1
cm long; nonetheless, they are undamaged and well defined in person and make the piece, the perfect
twofer from what many consider THE classic U.S. locality. If you have always wanted one of these under the
five figure price point then this would make a wonderful miniature to own and cherish. 4.2 x 2.2 cm.

S11824 - Cassiterite - SOLD
Taylor Creek District, Black Range, Catron Co., New Mexico
Overall Size: 4.5 x 2.7 cm
Exceptional wood tin as they have been called. This particular piece is unbelievable in person. The projection from
every side along with a mirror-smooth surface is reason enough to buy such a piece, highly unlike others I have
seen from here with this bulging coffee bean appearance, in fact I'm holding the piece right now and it extends
inward or has a depth to 2 cm, which may not sound like a lot, but for botryoidal cassiterite it is! Aesthetic!

S11826 - Calcite on Aragonite - $175
Northumberland Mine, Nye County, Nevada
Overall Size: 7.2 x 5.1 x 3.6 cm
Plain yet attractive oval of pure white calcite measuring 2.5 cm in length sits perched on the far left side of
snow-white aragonite matrix. Very nice for the mine, in pristine condition.
S11827 - Inesite - $12500
Wessels Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Overall Size: 6.7 x 3.5 cm
Fresh plump ripe looking red inesites are relatively scarce from mother earth. The Wessels mine in South Africa
is one of the few places where the manganese rich silicate crystallize to such extreme size and perfection in
adjoining spheres primarily seen from this locality and in large part to this extent, such stacked balls almost resemble
a miniature snowman. Surely, this photogenic shape had something to do with it making the cover of Rock & Gem
magazine, and as mentioned in the what's new in minerals article inside "a whole new standard is going to have to be
accepted for these inesites", and I for one agree. Offhand we cannot think of a fitting nickname for this group of six balls
measuring up to 2.5 cm across, but it certainly deserves one! On a scale of high-level inesites, this nearly edible piece
ranks with the best of its kind according to many experts in the field of mineralogy and that is no snow job! Without
question a connoisseur's dream piece! No damage!

S11831 - Azurite - $725
Chessy, Lyons, France
Overall Size: 4 x 2.9 cm
Famous for azurite or previously known as chessylite early on from the mine, these specimens are a piece of
mineral collecting history. Each nodular rosette exhibits the classic telltale texture and microscopic adhering
quartz needed to help ensure their identity from this limestone type deposit, both having a width of 2.9 cm.
During the heyday of production examples were probably quite common, but after some 150 years they only
pop up every now and again.

S11832 - Calcite - $225
Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 3.7 x 3.1 cm
Fine calcites for which Bisbee is noted occur in a seemingly never ending series of forms, habits and associations.
This is one such piece. Lightly disseminated reddish hematite inclusions add life to a normally white mineral.
Lustrous and damage free.

S11833 - Calcite - SOLD
Castro Quarry, Montalto District, Lazio, Italy
Overall Size: 7.3 x 5 x 4.1 cm
Every crystallized sphere collection needs one of these! Perfection at its finest! This calcite features isolated
crystallization, very round shape, clean appearance, slightly translucent and sharp contrasting basalt to
round out the list. Amazing geometry!
S11834 - Barite with Sphalerite - $450
Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Tennessee
Overall Size: 7.3 x 6.2 cm
Not only does barite serve as a nice contrasting matrix for those splendid gemmy golden calcites we have all
seen, but it forms white to creamy colored, frothy, nearly perfect spheres often times artfully perched on dark
sphalerite. As seen, this 7.3 x 6.2 cm beauty needs no display stand.
S11835 - Malachite - $150
Mashamba West Mine, Shaba Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 5.6 x 3.6 cm
Interesting layer of second generation malachite over malachite mixed in with a thin layer of white chrysocolla.
An extremely abundant mineral throughout the copper belt, in spite of this, the interesting growth is different.
S11836 - Calcite on Barite - $475 SOLD
Northumberland Mine, Nye County, Nevada
Overall Size: 5 x 4 cm
Aesthetically placed 1.8 cm teardrop shaped white calcite atop a gray single shooting out of matrix. Northumberland
barites will never win any beauty contests anytime soon with the nearby Meikle mine also in Nevada and classic English
pieces, but for the locality this one two punch combo is excellent and a must have for collectors of such things I would
think. As a 3 dimensional miniature from America it comes highly recommended.

S11837 - Malachite with Quartz - $365
Dscheskasgan, Kazakhstan
Overall Size: 6 x 3.4 cm
Here is a locality we don't see everyday. Irregular lively green ball measuring 3.2 cm across sits against hard
quartz infiltrated matrix. Distinct growth patterns can be easily seen. A different kind of malachite!
S11838 - Malachite - $225
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 4.1 x 3.2 cm
Another colorful malachite, only this time it is from the legendary Tsumeb mine in Namibia. This nice botryoidal
layer can be highlighted by normal everyday light giving the fibrous tips a pleasing glowing-like effect.
Super miniature.
S11839 - Azurite - $585
Junction Shaft, Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 4 x 3.5 cm
Visually stimulating botryoidal bright blue azurites have always been a favorite among collectors of Bisbee
where for the better part of a century world-class specimens made the locality famous, in particular azurite,
for no other mineral is more closely associated with the mines. Riveting color of the type has been sought after
in drusy carpets lining cavities within limonite gossan since they were first discovered. HIGHLY prized.

S11840 - Sulfur - $175 SOLD
near Sulfur, Pershing County, Nevada
Overall Size: 8 x 5 cm
It's true, there is a rock for everyone as the old saying goes. Probably not many of us would search for a ROUND
sulfur! Joking aside, this thing is surprisingly spherical in shape and had to be kind of hard to find.
Measures 1.5 cm long, great native element.
