S10369 - Apatite-(CaF) with Quartz - $650

Overall Size: 6 x 3.7 cm
Aesthetic and startling placement of crystals from the mine! The color, typically seen in Panasqueira 
material, is classic rich green in addition to the high-level of luster on every face. They have aligned 
vertically wrapping over colorless quartz for easy viewing. Minerals from this European locale have 
always been in demand among like-minded collectors, evident in today's prices regardless of the 
good value here. Apatite-(CaF) reaches 1.4 cm long though larger have crystallized near the base.

A very fine gem quality isolated crystal of 2.5 cm across is protruding from brassy sulfide matrix to form 
wonderful 3 dimensionality. The color, typically seen in Panasqueira material, is classic rich green and 
the surface has a high-level of luster. Minerals from this mine have always been popular among collectors 
if not more in demand today. Accurate photos, no damage.

Rare lilac colored fluorites from Panasqueira are unavailable today. Fairly transparent cluster measuring 
3 x 2.5 cm in length sits adjacent to elegant brown siderite and brassy arsenopyrite, highly attractive mix 
of species! Stunning locality sample for the calcium fluoride, damage free.




S8932 - Apatite-(Ca-F) on Siderite cast - $500 SOLD

Overall Size: 8 x 6.2 cm
Interesting siderite cast that was probably on a quartz crystal at one time but has since slid off, it is still 
sculpturally pleasing from several angles. Gem quality purple-gray apatites up to 1.2 cm in length sit 
studded on the outer surface to form the classic Panasqueira look. Some chipping is present; otherwise, 
the value would greatly increase, a steal if you don't have to have a perfect rock!

Even rarer than purple fluorite from the mine is this combo piece. Wow, how many of us have seen another? 
Not only is the association great, but one of the fluorites is perched atop the barrel shaped pale pink 
apatite. Choice thumbnail.

Odd placement of crystals. Here we have black sphalerite attached to brassy chalcopyrite and crystallized 
arsenopyrite acting as the matrix which measures 5.5 x 2.7 cm in overall size. In good condition.

Three high quality minerals grouped together forming a super miniature of 4.8 x 3.3 cm in size, lustrous 
black ferberite measures 2.5 cm long, sparkles when rotated in hand. No problems.

Splendid interlocking yellow-brown crystals measure 2.2 x 2 cm as a group. Hard to capture in a photo, 
but this qtz is a jewel - unimaginable clarity. Overall easy to view from various angles making for one 
handsome small miniature.

The crystals have it all: luster, lovely color and are arranged in spray form making it noteworthy for the 
price. For those who want to add a good apatite to the collection then these large flat terminated apatites 
extending out from the center focal point should be perfect. 4 x 3 cm in overall size.

Super miniature of lilac colored fluorites align vertically wrapping over the colorless quartz crystal for a 
startling placement of crystals from the mine. Other minerals from this locale are sometimes available, 
yet it's the calcium fluoride that is rarely seen. From an old collection.

Well formed doubly terminated single green crystal measuring 3 x 2.7 cm in overall size and complete on 
the rear as well as underside in addition to being a really sharp for the classic European locality.

Two glassy green crystals sit stacked upon one another for a large thumbnail of 3.2 x 2.5 cm in size.

S7046 - Fluorite with Chalcopyrite - $250 SOLD  
Panasqueira Mine, Portugal  
Overall Size: 4.1 x 2.7 cm
Fluorite from this well-known mine is quite rare. This white cube measures 2.1 x 2.1 cm in size with an 
adjacent chalcopyrite of 1.7 cm across, both sitting nicely exposed. Great miniature in fine condition.
