S10713 - Rhodochrosite - $525 SOLD
Uchucchaqua Mine, Lima Department, Peru
Overall Size: 4.3 x 3.5 cm
Rhodochrosites from Uchucchaqua seem to have vanished from the market within the last few years! Not
surprising as only a small handful of localities have cherry-red gem quality crystals jumping out from
black matrix, for which they are know. This glassy damage free rhodo is 1.4 cm long. Striking appearance!

S10714 - Fluorite - $4600 SOLD
Wolsendorf, Bavaria, Germany
Overall Size: 12 x 9.5 cm
Highly impressive cabinet fluorite of the richest deep amber orange cubes have crystallized in a way to show
the largest emerging from other penetrating xls. For the locale, 7 centimeters is huge and aesthetically placed
inbetween smaller encircling crystals. The unbelievable color is equally strong in person, what you see is what
you get! Believe me, it will literally glow on a shelf, plus the additional transparency makes this one a good
pick, just look at the photos!

S10716 - Fluorite with Dolomite - $2500
Frohnau, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany
Overall Size: 8.5 x 8.3 cm
This is one of those pieces that rarely becomes available. I have seen shitty broken examples offered in
Europe for over a decade, but not a single comparable fluorite such as this extremely fine specimen. Held in
high regard for two reasons, (1) the infrequently seen dolomite matrix and (2) its absolutely pristine damage
free purple and blue zoned crystals. Wedged together at 3.4 cm across. Judging classics takes time, which
is worth the effort if you have the interest, as good as one can hope to find for a German fluorite. Enough said!
