S10517 - Pyrite - SOLD
Huanzala Mine, Dos de Mayo Province, Peru
Overall Size: 14 x 9.5 cm
Premier locality for pyrite! The Huanzala mine has yielded attractive specimens for years, and the best
examples have well defined crystals with smooth brassy faces. The piece above shows these qualities
in a very classy way. No damage, the rough areas are in fact etched sections. The cluster is big and rich
golden in person, always difficult to photograph the ever present mirror luster. 14 x 9.5 cm in size.

S10518 - Dioptase with Malachite - $700 SOLD
Sanda Mine, Mindouli, Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 4.2 x 2.3 cm
A high quality buy not to miss of lustrous elongated intense green dioptase of 2.1 cm tall in the upper portion
of a velvet-like dark stalactite acting as the perfect pedestal for this miniature sized piece. As a combined
species the two are quite rare in larger pieces, especially malachite. Immediately recognizable as different
and therefore very collectible, photos say it all! You know that this is one of the few good examples in
existence, strikingly unique.

S10519 - Stibnite - SOLD
Wuning Mine, Jiangxi Province, China
Overall Size: 20 x 1.5 cm
Large long straight stibnite blade with sharp edges similar to a sword, the ideal kind of showy rock to jazz
up your cabinet and not drain the bank account, extends a full 20 cm in length! These mediocre photos don't
truly convey how really brilliant the crystal is in person, trust me. No damage.

S10520 - Fluorite - SOLD
Dal'negorsk Mine, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
Overall Size: 7.8 x 5 cm
One of the magnificent localities for fluorite on account of transparency and flat even surfaces of each face
which greatly help give it that "ice cube" effect. Individual xls measure 2.1 x 2.1 cm. Photography can be
difficult with the high level of quality, hard to shoot what's barely visible! These are instant classics, so grab
a sample while available.

S10521 - Wulfenite with Malachite after Azurite - $750 SOLD
Whim Creek, Western Australia, Australia
Overall Size: 12.3 x 11.5 cm
Hard to imagine a prettier association of wulfenite sprinkled over malachite after azurite, in a league by itself.
The tightly grown rosette-like clusters reach 3.3 cm across in the lower half of matrix. In all this plate has nearly
equal length to width, not a bad price for what you get! Held back for years by a private collector. No question
of being an Australian beauty!

S10522 - Magnetite - SOLD
Cerro Huanaquino, Potosi Department, Bolivia
Overall Size: 13.5 x 7 cm
As we all know abundant magnetites from the mountainous region have been available in recent years;
therefore, it isn't difficult to fill the gap. The challenging part is finding the right specimen beyond what is
expected. For example, here are plenty of super-bright octahedrons snug tight on matrix for that extra
display quality in large size.

S10523 - Malachite after Azurite - $475 SOLD
Sir Dominic Mine, Arkaroola, South Australia, Australia
Overall Size: 7.7 x 4.6 cm
Wow, certainly sharp for a replacement mineral. Think for a second how interesting this malachite pseudomorph
after azurite is, and then notice they aren't typical prismatic crystals, but instead complete rosettes! Reaching
3 x 2.7 cm in the close-up photo. Simply amazing crystallography of mineralogical interest, consequently we have
more than just a representative pseudo. Very 3 dimensional in person without damage.

S10524 - Bismuth - $285 SOLD
Wolfram Camp, Queensland, Australia
Overall Size: 3.2 x 3 cm
Slightly tarnished silvery-white with a tinge of pink makeup the surface of this native element. Usually
in crude form and in polysynthetic twinning, this bismuth is sharp as seen in both photos of each side.
Outside of the classic pieces from Saxony, Germany; few localities bring forth specimen grade material.

S10525 - Orthoclase (Var. Adularia) - SOLD
Uri, Switzerland
Overall Size: 5.5 x 4 cm
Old-time collecting area mined by strahlers time and again. Piece of mineral history as important today
as when found. Typical high-degree of shiny luster nearly parallel to pegmatitic albite. Its off-white main
prism stands 2.8 cm tall, accompanied with old label.

S10526 - Fluorite - $1000 SOLD
Xianghualing Mine, Hunan Province, China
Overall Size: 8.3 x 6 cm
I diligently searched to find such a pristine high quality piece even with prolific mines in China pouring out
fluorite, perhaps the widest variety anybody has seen of the species to come from one country. All the more
reason to buy when available. Absolutely razor sharp edges and windowpane faces nearly invisible, really
they are reminiscent of the highly sought after "ice cubes" from Dal'negorsk, Russia - honest truth. Also
these penetration twins sit well so not to be confusing to the eye, largest is 4 x 3.8 cm square. It has the
entire package, I cannot recommend this small cabinet enough.

S10527 - Spodumene (Var. Kunzite) - SOLD
Mawi, Laghman Province, Afghanistan
Overall Size: 9.1 x 2.5 cm
Worth owning if you love gem crystals. Afghanistan is known for producing outstanding kunzite, such doubly
terminated pieces aren't readily obtainable in this price range. Crystals having a single termination can be
bought on the cheap. Glows vibrant purple down the c axis, a must see.

several different ways.

S10529 - Smithsonite - $200
Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia
Overall Size: 10 x 5 cm
Even if not a diehard Tsumeb devotee one can appreciate the wonderful isolated crystal in the top portion
of the photo, measuring nearly 1.5 cm across. Every pocket seems to be distinctive. This one doesn't have
the top pink color, but it is quite large for two hundred bucks, a steal for sure.

S10530 - Prehnite with Epidote - $150
Diakon, Kayes Region, Mali
Overall Size: 4 x 3.7 cm
Perfect ball, of appealing yellow/green color, measures 2.7 x 2.6 cm sitting perched on an epidote "V"
spray. Hard to get prehnite with a clean surface, thus rewarding to find one. Complete sphere from the
back, too.
