S10502 - Malachite - SOLD
Musonoi Mine, Katanga, Democratic Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 13 x 10 cm
Cabinet sized! By far the largest malachite stalactites come from the Congo in distinct forms and textures
indicative of the the rich copper belt within the country. This particular pocket produced enormous museum
quality specimens a step above the norm, significant? Yes, but collectors zoom in on the hollow center since
it's arguably the most fascinating and desirable feature. Any type of special attraction adds value to such a
piece. In good condition, 13 x 10 cm.

S10503 - Bournonite on Rhodochrosite - $235
Pachapaqui, Ancash Department, Peru
Overall Size: 4.7 x 3.2 cm
Typical gun-metal blue patina has thinly coated this cogwheel style bournonite measuring nearly 1.3 cm across.
Often stereotyped as "black uglies" we rarely see colorful pink rhodochrosite in association with sulfides making
it a very fine damage free miniature to own.

S10504 - Topaz with Schorl - $200 SOLD
Dassu, Shigar Valley, Pakistan
Overall Size: 2.5 x 1.7 cm
Topaz investing schorl in a very balanced like fashion. Single pale brown topaz crystals can be seen in the low
hundreds, so aesthetically fitting species are not only rarer if one were to view all the contents of a pocket, but
of great value for the dollar spent. Top-notch thumbnail, gemmy too!

S10505 - Galena with Siderite - $650
Dal'negorsk Mine, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
Overall Size: 8 x 5.2 cm
A worthwhile pick of mind-blowing crystallization. The world famous Dal'negorsk locality produced some of
the finest galenas ever found if not the most sleek looking. Unimaginable level of luster, the kind of blinding
reflective appearance present on high quality specimens. Each modified crystal reaches up to 4.1 x 4 cm in
size and is complete on every side. Before the surge of Russian material two decades ago examples were
uncommon on the market, ironically once again enough time has passed making these somewhat hard to find.

S10506 - Opal - $400
Quilpie, Queensland, Australia
Overall Size: 5.5 x 5.2 cm
Stunning play of colors and well polished surface brings out intense shifting flashes of blue, green, purple,
red, pink and even white from beneath its translucent face. In all the "fire" is captivating and resembles a
far away galaxy. Australia has been known to produce excellent precious opal, and this boulder opal is no
exception. A beauty for sure.

S10507 - Dioptase with Chrysocolla - $150
Carrizalilo, Atacama Region, Chile
Overall Size: 6 x 2.4 cm
Great dioptase locale! Lustrous and gemmy emerald-green crystals compile into groups set upon bluish
white chrysocolla matrix. Impressive for this part of the world which made news about 2 years ago. The
remarkable contrast doesn't hurt either, size: 6 x 2.4 cm.

S10508 - Calcite with Pyrite - $750
Broken Hill, N.S.W., Australia
Overall Size: 7.5 x 7.5 x 5 cm
Exceptional for what it is! One of the historically important specimen producing localities is none other than
Broken Hill, Australia. Since 1883 minerals have been unearthed from the mines, most notably rhodonite,
yet many unique pieces come from the deposit. Such as these highly unusual spikes of calcite dusted by tiny
pyrites. The combination of mining history from a celebrated area and distinctive crystallization is what the
majority of dealers would find noteworthy. Xls extend to nearly 4 cm long.

S10509 - Pyromorphite - $250
Broken Hill, N.S.W., Australia
Overall Size: 5.3 x 4.6 cm
Bulging mound of maroon pyros sit on alike matrix of 5.3 x 4.6 cm. One of the historically important specimen
producing localities is none other than Broken Hill, Australia. Since 1883 minerals have been unearthed from
the mines, at the present time we seldom see good pyromorphites.

S10510 - Apophyllite-(KF) with Bustamite - $750
Broken Hill, N.S.W., Australia
Overall Size: 4.5 x 3.1 cm
Honestly, for me its only appeal is the famous mine from where it came, and that is sometimes reason enough to
buy a rock. Let's face it if from India would this sell? All joking aside, the justifiably well-known locality has additional
value just like Tsumeb. All faces show bright luster and sharp edges wherein acicular medium red bustamites
rest. Very fine miniature.

S10511 - Forsterite - $200 SOLD
Suppat, Kohistan, Pakistan
Overall Size: 3.5 x 2.3 cm
This popular and desirable gem grade material, widely known by the trade name peridot, is known for
pure grass-green color. Several stepped faces grew into a pointed termination, somewhat atypical.
Great recession adjusted price, too.
S10512 - Axinite-(Fe) - $500
Puiva Deposit, Subpolar Urals, Russia
Overall Size: 6.2 x 3.8 cm
Choice knife-like crystal of splendid size. Color, transparency and shape are known qualities from this famous
alpine cleft. Large singles were uncommon, especially doubly terminated ones without green chlorite inclusions,
e.g. the one shown. Small edge wear typical for this type of morphology. Classy mineral specimen!
S10513 - Hemimorphite - $150 SOLD
Dulong Mine, Yunnan Province, China
Overall Size: 11.5 x 5 cm
If you can live with a few breaks then it's hard to beat such upright projecting stalactites, if not there is
enormous potential to turn this into a killer thumbnail worth a lot more than the asking price. Inexpensive
for the size.

S10514 - Mimetite - $550 SOLD
Mt. Bonnie Mine, Northern Territory, Australia
Overall Size: 3.5 x 2 cm
Exquisite small miniature! Mimetite is the most spectacular of the arsenates found at Mount Bonnie, commonly
in recognizable tabular habit reaching the maximum width of a little over 1.5 cm which is the size of the one seen
here. The complete textbook hexagonal shape is exceptional and very well developed from all angles. Not only
does this aesthetic jewel prop up for display, I cannot even find a micro-scratch in spite of the exposed crystal
faces having minimal protection. Hands down worth getting for the stated reasons!

S10515 - Azurite with Malachite and Cerussite - $650
Broken Hill, N.S.W., Australia
Overall Size: 8.7 x 5.3 cm
A lovely piece of history from the now idle locale. Countless glassy rich deep blue azurites sit sprinkled over
soft velvet botryoidal malachite to form a small cabinet of 8.7 x 5.3 cm in overall size. Hard to get from Broken
Hill even if a locality type specimen. Comes with old label.
