S13016 - Dioptase with Plancheite - $1800
Sanda Mine, Mindouli, Republic of the Congo
Overall Size: 11.4 x 9 cm
This plate has crystals of dioptase all over it! Such 5 inch display specimens could certainly compete for the most
breathtaking from any given locality with their lush green color and glistening luster. The light coverage of sky-blue
plancheite balls make them some of the prettiest specimens of the copper bearing mineral ever produced by
mother nature. A truly tantalizing feast for the eyes. No damage.

S13017 - Mercury with Cinnabar - $750 SOLD
Socrates Mine, Sonoma County, California
Overall Size: 7.5 x 4.7 cm
Mercury, the relatively rare native element, occurs naturally in heavy, silver-white, metallic droplets of dense fluidity. Its
common associate, that of red cinnabar is seldom represented in sharp eye visible crystals over matrix, making this
combo piece so different and downright interesting, I find it irresistible. Some of the best associations were from
deposits in Sonoma county, California.

S13018 - Azurite with Malachite - $650 SOLD
New Cornelia Mine, Ajo, Pima Co., Arizona
Overall Size: 4.1 x 3.6 cm
The mine produced azurite pockets of highly individualized, sharp-edged crystals of considerable deep royal blue
color that occurred under the same circumstances as malachite, only with minor pseudomorphism at the base.
These electrifying clusters are highly prized by collectors, and this one is particularly nice.

S13023 - Calcite - $800 SOLD
Fontainebleau, near Paris, France
Overall Size: 6.4 x 3.7 cm
Calcites come in a bewildering variety and this "plain looking" cluster of basic design is no exception, in fact that is
part of its appeal! This is the original locality at Fontainebleau, near Paris, France for the commonly known sand
calcite, often in lovely texture and well developed crystals. They are European classics and remain uncommon
on today's market!

S13024 - Rhodochrosite after Calcite with Quartz - $1400 SOLD
Cassandra Mine, Chalkidiki Prefecture, Macedonia Department, Greece
Overall Size: 6 x 3.7 cm
Found sparingly at this locality. These rhodo pseudos occur in CAPTIVATING pink with sparkling tiny quartz completely
covering hexagonal calcite, with some reaching 1.5 cm in length. The Cassandra mines, like other ancient mining
districts of that period, were famous in classical antiquity, centuries before this specimen even saw the light of day. If
this piece looks familiar I sold it several years ago to a San Francisco based collector, it has just now come back. This
small cabinet is one of but a few exceptional pieces around. Extremely pristine and enjoyable to view in person.

S13026 - Spinel - $275 SOLD
Pein Pyit, Mogok, Mandalay Division, Myanmar
Overall Size: 1.2 x 1.1 cm
A wide range of colors take place in worldwide spinel deposits, yet none match the splendid blood-red tinted sharp
crystals of perfect octahedral form that come from Burma. They are exceptional and this single floater by virtue of
better color distinguishes it from others. Gemmy!

S13027 - Schorl with Quartz - $400 SOLD
Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Northern Areas, Pakistan
Overall Size: 7.2 x 3.7 cm
A striking specimen for black tourmaline! MUCH BETTER in person. Three highly lustrous and striated schorl crystals,
held in place by thin albite matrix, reach up to 4.3 x 3 cm in size. The specimen is very 3 dimensional, well formed from
every side and complete all the way around, from earlier finds near Gilgit, 7.2 x 3.7 cm.

S13028 - Adamite - $1750 SOLD
Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
Overall Size: 5 x 3.7 cm
Crystal perfection ten times more perfect than almost any others seen from this famous mineral locality. These
semicircular lemon drops arc over dark reddish limonite in a way few do, it is strikingly noticeable in person, barely
attached to matrix and a feature that makes all the difference with so many to choose from. Competition level
miniature. The Ojuela mine is well-known among collectors for fine brilliantly marked adamite in an array of colors
such as yellow, the world's finest, which has a certain kind of magic to it.

S13032 - Silver - $465 SOLD
Wolverine Mine, Houghton Co., Michigan
Overall Size: 3.7 x 2.3 cm
American piece of mining history where many of the mines scattered up and down the Keweenaw Peninsula produced
prolific amounts of copper and excellent specimens of trademark silvery-red silver since around the time 1848 when the
first large scale mining began at the Cliff and Minesota mines, followed thereafter by Wolverine and several others.

S13033 - Roselite with Pyrite and Calcite - $285
Aghbar Mine, Bou Azzer District, Souss-Massa-Draa Region, Morocco
Overall Size: 11 x 5.6 cm
This showy and rare specimen features a gorgeous spread of violet ruby-red roselite and shiny pyrite sprinkled over
nice pink calcite. The three species in association are not all that common in the 11 x 5.6 cm size range.
This layered mix makes it a favorite of ours!
S13034 - Chalcocite with Quartz - $2300
Mount Gunson Mine, Andamooka Ranges, South Australia, Australia
Overall Size: 7 x 5.5 x 5 cm
WOW, what a whopper! Uncommonly large for chalcocite from here or any other locality! It must be said that the mother
of all British CHALCOCITES or other location for that matter is on display at the BMNH. Still this large crystal measures
4.5 x 4 cm as shown and is quite rare to (1) actually see one in this size range and (2) have an opportunity to buy it! They
for the most part only came from depleted mines eons ago, now is your chance!

S13036 - Quartz (Var. Smoky Quartz) - $275
Greely, Carleton Co., Ontario, Canada
Overall Size: 6 x 4.5 cm
Showing partial alteration of the body to hollow or skeletal inner sections filled with interesting clay inclusions, or
commonly known as window quartz, but still leaving sharp glassy outer faces intact and free of major damage,
especially on the display side. A jewel for this unusual locale.
S13037 - Quartz (Var. Citrine) - $250 SOLD
Olkhovka, Tyumenskaya Oblast, Polar Urals, Russia
Overall Size: 4.4 x 2.5 cm
A sharp yellow citrine prism that is unusually double term in form. When light reflects off its faces the piece presents
blinding luster and nearly flawless transparency for this variety of quartz. A stunner for what it is!
S13038 - Wulfenite with Mimetite - $3150 SOLD
San Francisco Mine, Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico
Overall Size: 9.4 x 8.6 cm
The greater part of these wonderful wulfenites show some degree of unfavorable damage and to find one in near
perfect condition in cabinet size is a major event, only a single break can be seen after much scrutiny in person,
making this cluster an excellent group damage-wise. It is just one of those unavoidable things in super-delicate
minerals. After physically seeing thousands of specimens I cannot recommend this DREAM piece enough.
Two distinct styles of crystals are present measuring to 2 cm across.
S13039 - Prehnite - $365
Diakon, Kayes Region, Mali
Overall Size: 3.7 x 3.7 cm
These pretty green prehnites came out a few years back, unfortunately, with scores of specimens now available it
takes a strange worm-like horseshoe like this to jump out at most collectors. This elongated "U" shaped group
is most unusual. In good condition.
