Andersonite is an uncommon uranium carbonate mineral usually found in small crystals and almost never in large euhedral crystals such as this superb specimen. The crystal is complete and of outstanding gem quality. Ralph Dietz obtained this piece from Shale’s in 1965 and from there it went into the collection of Bill McBride.
