Super gemmy and glassy stacked growth of rich deep green crystals up to 1.2 cm in length sit near the upper portion of matrix 
that measures 4.8 x 2.1 cm in overall size, a perfect miniature from the world famous deposit for demantoid garnet. Specimen 
is quite nice considering production has stopped long ago with old pieces like the one pictured here are highly collectible and 
rare even in Italy! Most of the better material, at least specimens with large xtls offered above, were found during the early 
1950s. Classy variety of andradite that will always be desirable in the future.
